Does anyone know if there are any "diet" sodas that are sweetened with stevia instead of aspartame? Sometimes I like that sizzle of a cold pop.. but REALLY can't afford the calories..

Would you get that sizzle satisfied from fizzy water? You get your water, you get your fizzy and no-cals.0

Zevia sodas. You can buy at Whole Foods, Raley's, even Target. Best selection is Whole Foods. The sodas are expensive, usually 5.99 for a 6 pack.0

Stevia? That stuff will kill you. :noway:
Okay, I may be confused by something I saw on Breaking Bad...:smokin:0 -
Sadly all of that sugar is bad for you. However, sobe has some drink that has stevia in it. I only found that out because my boyfriend bought it for me when I was pregnant and I threw a huge hissy fit because it was fake sugar :P
Coke has some that's sweetened with splenda.
Honestly, I just go for the fizzy water.0 -

I'm not a big fan of fizzy water. Or the fizzy lemon kind my husband raves about.0 -

That's the first thing that pops into my mind when I hear about stevia ????0 -
Unless it tastes like Diet Mountain Dew, I don't want it. Aspartame be damned!0

Why not just drink regular diet soda?0

Yes, and I cant think of the name for the life of me, but at whole foods they sell a stevia sweetened soda.
Zevia!!! It's called zevia. My dad offered me a cherry flavored one and it was pretty good. Not usually a fan of stevia, but this was tasty.0 -
pepsi one is with splenda as well0

I don't do "diet" soda very often as it caused me some issues in the past. I do like DRY soda though. It has the fizziness and is sweetened with real sugar, just less of it. One bottle is typically 70 or less calories and comes in flavors like Blood Orange, Lime, Lavender, Vanilla.0

Also, the stevia soda seems like it gives me a tummyache. Mind you, I have a cast-iron stomach and swill the "regular" diet stuff all the livelong day, so maybe it's just because it's different from normal? But I can and do eat all kinds of out of the ordinary stuff and no probalo, but the stevia soda is not so good, Al...0 -
if you only drink it very occasionally, then just have a regular soda.0

I avoid diet soda at all costs. Artificial sweetener is so hard to steer clear from! It's everywhere! I enjoy Zevia soda once in a while but, it is expensive as someone else mentioned. It also contains Erythritol, which I'm not crazy about. I wish it was pure Stevia. ) At any rate, I don't drink soda often, so I normally drink regular, made with REAL sugar soda, like Pepsi Throwback or Sierra Mist.0

That's my favorite diet soda too.0 -
Blue sky makes some stevia sodas that I like better than zevia. I get mine off amazon.0

Coke also makes a diet version with splenda, which I think actually tastes better than regular diet coke (but I prefer coke zero as my number one choice).0

Water is the best for you, diet sodas are bad ,they say you can still gain weight with diet soda and its very harch for your stomach.make crystal light or home made ice tea.I will use Mio in my water once in a while just for taste the best thou is water and lemon.0

This thread is making me thirsty for aspartame.....mmmmmmm Diet Rockstar....0

I have a Soda Stream and I buy the grey (Coke) Diet Cola and the blue (Pepsi) Diet Cola. It is sweetened with sucralose (no aspartame). I really like it and I was a HUGE Diet Pepsi junkie.0

pepsi one is with splenda as well
Thank you! I'll try that. My grocery store didn't have anything made with stevia0 -
use perrie watter and add what you like that is what I do0

I don't do soda anymore. but Pepsi has something called Pepsi Throwback and its made with real sugar instead of HFCS and is healthy as far as just keeping it with sugar.
Zevia is pretty good as well, Recent studies has shown any processed made sugars are HORRIBLE for you. But every once in a while I am sure isn't going to do much.
Also Diet soda is worse for you than regular soda. As well as clear sodas are worse than dark soda.0 -
Anytime you drink something with aspartame added, a kitten dies - so I've been led to believe by this message board.0

Gosh, I'm responsible for a lot of kitten deaths. I'm a monster! Oh wait, I knew that already. :devil:0 -
Pepsi Max is the only way forward I'm afraid. I don't even care what's in it, I will guzzle those until my head falls off. Great to drink while barbell training.0
