Roasted chick peas are a great crunchy snack. Just open the can, drain, rinse, dry, add 1 teaspoon of oil and your favourite spices (i suggest curry or taco seasoning) and roast in the oven until crunchy
now that sounds like a good snack0 -

My kid is crunch-obsessed so we do maple popcorn, spicy roasted chickpeas, kale chips w/ nutritional yeast (cheese crunch!), super-thin (like peeling thin) slices of carrot roasted up crispy w/ cinnamon, crunchy garlic-roasted cauliflower, baked sweet potato and white potato chips, and I'm always on the hunt for new healthy/crunchy/yummy snacks hehe.0

I toast almond slivers in the toaster oven - beware though - once they reach a certain point, they toast quickly - I've started a few baby fires this way, but it's worth it! :devil:0
