    Wow, you are so setting yourself up for an eating disorder. You are already severely undereating and now obsessing about not eating with friends. I'd tell you to just go have a good time but I think what you really need to do is get some professional help to find out where you're getting these feelings from and get it sorted out.

    Here are my observations -

    1. There is no way you are an athlete and only eat 1200 a day. Period
    2. If you are 17, find a site designed for teens.
    3. Your profile says you only need to lose 7 pounds? if you've been eating 1200 for 8 months, you would have lost it already.

    In my personal opinion, and I am not a doctor, but you have an ED and are looking for ways to justify eating more. So then you'll eat more, and purge, because you felt so fat.

    Seek professional help. And soon.
