    were are the sixers at????

    have a busy day. broker meeting at 2, go see shanell at lunch time, washer being delivered between 4-7, bible study if the washer gets here in time. going to do a retail therapy this morning.

    Well here is to the start of a good weight loss week. I need some major energy this morning, jut dont have much get up and go. But it is a busy day of chores, OT for dd then she has a CT scan today at 3:00 not really looking forward to that but we will see how it goes.

    However I believe I am going to make impossible bacon pie for dinner tonight mmmmm yummy!

    Cathy - hope your day goes well and that shanell is doing better today.
    Julia - so sorry to hear about your grandma my thoughts are with you and your family.
    Kel - nice job, way to go on the inches, that is a great feeling to have things start to fit loser.

    Well better run dd is almost done with breakfast and then it is bath time.

    Morning!

    Quick check in. Lost a battle with TOM craving last night. Ate some cookies and cashews...blah! Oh well. AND went for my run and somehow hurt my knee! THREE days before my race! Really?! Bad luck is following me these days! Oh well. It's a new day today!

    Plan:
    B-Cinnamon Life cereal, skim milk, coffee w/sugar free creamer
    S-Banana, Roasted almond granola bar
    L-Baby carrots, light yogurt, pretzels, apple
    S-Celery with 2 tbsp. natural PB
    D-Teryaki chicken, with some veggie and maybe rice
    S-Popsicle

    Exercise:
    Strength training of some sort. Probably shred level 2 and something else.
    Taking it easy on the knee and maybe just a walk.

    No change this week. :grumble: But since it is now TOM for me, I'm not too upset about it. I've probably actually lost weight.

    No weight loss this week but I have lost 2.5 inches at my waist, 1 inch at my chest and .50 inches at the hips since Oct 1st. So I am very happy!!!

    Good morning!

    Finally it's Thursday...this week is taking FOREVER! I've been fighting this cough...and it's so BLAH! Did shred level 2 last night and then went on a nice walk with Kadence in the wagon. Tonight I'm not sure what I will do...probably some kind of strength training and maybe another walk. My race is in two days. I am very excited, although it's supposed to rain, and with this stupid cough, I'm just hoping I can run it! If the weather is horrible, I will probably pass. Or if I'm feeling completely crappy. But otherwise...IT IS ON! I've been looking forward to this for TWO years!

    Plan today:
    B-Cream of wheat, 1/2 c. skim milk, coffee w/sugarfree creamer
    S-Banana, crunchy PB granola bar
    L-Leftover chicken corn chowder, light yogurt
    S-Apple, almonds
    D-Leftovers...probably the Southwestern quiche will be my choice!
    S-Popsicle

    Exercise:
    Some sort of strength training
    Walk

    Good morning ladies. I know, its Thursday and I am a couple of days late. This has been the longest week ever for me. I did not weigh in at all. I dont even want to know. its TOM. I have worked some long hours this week and I dont have a day off until Sunday. Ahh, the challenges that life throws at us sometimes! If I can just maintain for the time being then that would be wonderful!

    Cathy, hope Shannell is doing better! I do remember those days after having the gall bladder out as being rough ones.

    Kirsten- I know someone else who hurt their knee days before their race but she ran it anyways. Now she was put on no running for 1 month by her doc. Listen to your body!

    I lost for the week. Sorry I didn't post earlier, been kinda in a little pain, LOL. Thanks for all the prayers and kind words. I'm feeling as good as I can. Been sleeping alot and laying around and peeing. I can't believe how much I went through waking up. Didn't think I would have such a rough reaction to the anesthesia. The doc told me that he had a rough time getting the tube down my throat to start, and that I would need to let any other doctor know. So, a really sore throat for me. Hubby and my mommy have helped out alot. Thought I was going to be out of work for 1 week, turns out when I picked up my disability papers that I will be out for 3 weeks, just when my boss and another lady in the office are taking vacaction. My poor co-worker is going to be there by herself. I feel so bad, but can't do anything. Anyway, hubby got dinner cooking and I'm really hungry. Hope everyone has a great week. Later.

    Hi guys. Sorry I've been IMA. I got it into my head that after I FINALLY lost 5 lb that 7 lb that I didn't need to log everything. Now as I have gained 3 of them back, I realize that I do. So my goal is to better about logging everyday for the next week starting today, and to get on here more for some encouragement and to give some. Hope everyone is doing well and has a GREAT weekend.

    Checking in to say, I am starting a new on Monday. I am working hard to get the scale moving down again. I have 6 months left of medical school and I have been super busy the past few weeks... but I'm still here! And I'm going to try being more active on MFP.

    Hello sixers, sorry I have been MIA. I just couldn't bring myself to look at my weight another day and decided to take a break. I would like to start back up in Nov. I miss everyone.

    Gosh I cannot express how hard I have been working this week to get my scale to start moving down, looking really forward to tuesdays weigh in! I have been working hard, doing my C25k, jumping rope, and as of yesterday I have a bike! So today I rode my bike to work! 5.2 MILES!!! Yay, sadly I didnt ride home back from work because I dotn have working lights on my bike yet, I am hoping I will do a round trip tomorrow...

    Well, I accomplished my goal of logging in every day throughout the weekend. And I'm happy to say I stayed within my calories ALL weekend long. A definite first for me in a LONG time. My son woke up yesterday with the flu that his sister so kindly shared with him. About 5 hours later, I was holding my niece and felt like someone had given me a bag of hot coals. Needless to say, after work today, the three of us are having a "Buzz Lightyear" marathon (their favorite character). So I need to make sure I don't mindlessly eat. Fortunately for me (not for them), they aren't very hungry, so I won't be preparing a lot of food.

    Not thrilled about getting on the scale this week, but hopefully I'll surprise myself.

    Hello everyone!

    I have finally found my motivation again. Today is a new start for me, I completely counted and stayed within my calories today, and avoided sugar, soda, chocolate, etc. I am also excited to say that I've discovered Zumba! I had my first class tonight and am completely in love with it. I know that the scale is going to be moving in the right direction now. Hope everyone is doing well, and I'll talk to you tomorrow! :)
