    weighed in...no weight gained which is a plus since i was on vacation and it was my birthday weekend.

    have 4 lbs to lose by the end of the month...I can do this!

    That is fabulous Janna:) I know i always gain 1 or 2 pounds while on vacation, so you are doing great :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou:
    And, yes YOU CAN.. Plenty of time till the end of the month:)

    It's great to read about all your successes and struggles. Weighed in today and was happy to see the scale going in the right direction. I had a giant chocolate bar yesterday (yes, I ate it all). Nonetheless, I lost 1.3 pounds this week and I am 0.7 lbs away from monthly goal of 10 lbs. Giving up the chips has really helped.

    Hey to all! Sorry I have not been checking in very often! I am a slacker this week! But I'm not the only one :P. I have been having some ups and downs for the last two weeks with my eating. Some days have been really clean, and others have been, uh, shameful. LOL. That's why this journey does not end once we reach the finish line! I will have to continue to work hard to keep myself in check. My son offered me a bite of his candy, and I said no thank you. He asked me why not, and I opened my mouth to say that I was trying to cut out sweets to lose weight, and realized that's not the case anymore! I had to change my answer to "It's important for me to continue to watch what I eat so that I stay healthy, and don't gain my weight back." :) Even so, I struggle to be in any gray area. My mind is very much an "all or nothing"er.

    I am glad to see that everyone is doing so well! What a wonderful group we have here!

    You can do it!! Be patient with yourself because now you are in a new place and it will take time to settle in there. Yes it will be work to maintain. I hope you are giving yourself a 2 to 5 pounds range to be in. That is why choose to give themselves a cushion. Keep up the good work!:drinker: :flowerforyou:

    Well I am struggling myself. I stepped on scale and I had gained some of my weight back. I have over a week to get back to 355. Since I am not changing my ticker today I am not going to post my 3 pound gain. I will adjust ticker if need be October 31st. I am happy to still be 5 pounds down. It is part of the journey and could have been worst for sure.

    you are doing fantastic...losing even one pound has to be hard at 122 OMG! I am so impressed!

    yes, it is so hard, it takes longer to loose one (it took me 21 days to loose 2 pounds, but i am happy with it and grateful for it). So losing even half a pound at this stage is fabulous.. I am trying to get back to my pre-children weight but it is really getting harder.. so i am thinking that i just keep on going and as long as i am healthy and i can fit back in my old jeans, then everything is good:) [i am almost there for my jeans.. I can get them up but i still have my "little pouch" [trophy of two kids] and i can't zip them at all.. not even close..:laugh: I'll just keep at it..

    Mollie, you are doing awesome.. Just stay with it and the weight will come off.. Some weeks are good and some are bad.. The most important part is that you are commited to it and we are here to support each other through it all:)
