amen! I have been lifting for quite sometime now and i love to get my grub ON!!!! I have recently started taking my eating a little more serious as in eating more frequently and trying to eat a little cleaner. I sent you a friend request! I think I eat way more calories than any of my mfp friends so it would be nice not to be the only one eating over 1200 calories!0

I love to eat. I was part of the 1200 calorie club and my hair started falling out, had no energy, you know the rest. Now I've figured out what my equilibrium needs to be in order to feel great but lose weight as well. I regularly have sweets, desserts, and I certainly don't starve on 1800 calories a day...looking to increase slowly. Will send friend request.
Edited to add: Regular Bacon eater here, and rarely eat non-fat, low-fat foods. Unless it's milk, whole milk is very thick for my tastes.

Exactly! I'm going a little cray cray seeing all the 1200 calorie club people's food diary's all the time (no offence to them, I just can't do it!)

Sorry, that was obnoxious. But really, I'm not fitting in with the under 1500 club. I wont starve myself, I wont be tired, and I wont get insomnia and health damage. I've lost weight and maintained and even BUILT lean mass while eating over 1500 calories. You really don't have to starve!! I would love to find some eating and lifting men and women for motivation and support on MFP! Do you deadlift? Friend me! Do you not starve yourself? Friend me! I want to snoop on some food diaries that actually include enough FOOD! Bonus points if you eat bacon... and no, turkey bacon doesn't count!!
I am shooting for 1600 net calories and building. I don't eat bacon, but sending FR anyway

I used to eat only 1200 a day until I realized that I was not doing myself any favors! I started to research and realized that I needed to increase my calorie intake (got a lot of input from folks on MFP) and started to do more lifting. I am wrapping up ready the NROLFW and am looking forward to really focusing on lifting.
Anyone can friend me! I love eating more and still dropping weight and toning up!

I do not starve and I do NOT eat turkey bacon. I have not done any dead lifts. My gym is small and the men take up all the free weights when I am there. But I do use the weight machines.0

Saw this on my newfeed...had to come reply! I am currenlty cutting at 2000kcals a day & lift monday-friday (round 2 of Shortcut to Shred!)
I did 12 week begginer to advance bodybuilder before shred to bulk (been lifting since Dec)
Come the New Year I am going to eat at TDEE for a few months, still gonna lift just not sure what plan I'll do

Well I don't eat turkey bacon (I'm a pescatarian), but I lift and I sure as hell don't starve myself! Calorie goal is 1500, but on days when I'm hungry, I go over that 1500. And you can bet your bottom dollar that I eat back every single one of my exercise calories. Feel free to add me!0

I eat absolutely never any less than 2000 calories a day, and lift about 4 days a week feel free to send me a request, as of right now I'm right at 9 months pregnant and I haven't been logging my eating because to be honest I'm just eating when and what I want but I'm still working out the same and as soon as I have the baby (any time now) I will be back to logging every single day like I did before I was pregnant would love to add some friends who eat and lift as well.
oh yeah, and I LOVE REAL BACON(especially loaded in potato soup with cheese........now I'm hungry)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!0 -

I lift, run, and do kick boxing 5-6 days a week. My calories are set at 1500, but only because thats to keep me from over eating on rest days. I usually eat back my calories. usually I try to hit 1700-1800 calories a day though and I don't eliminate sugar or chocolate out of my diet because you need that stuff. Big into lifting, 4 days a week. 230 bench (for what it's worth).
Cutting at the moment at 1800 cals, bulking gets up to 3 or 4 thousand!
