Could we add:
Lose = "I am trying to lose weight and I'm hoping you can help", not to be confused with Loose = "I would really like my pants to be loose in a month"
PLEASE!!!!!1 -

QFT, because that is a pet peeve of mine as well. However, those are neither terms nor acronyms, so I'm afraid we will have to be grammar Nazis about that!0 -
I think the first post should be changed slightly to correct the meaning of "Bump"0

:noway: :explode: :laugh:0 -
But you used it for the other meaning yourself further up this page!
I think the one on the first page for bump is actually "Tagged", no? ;p0 -
BMF=Body Media Fit.
I have seen it on here more than once.0 -
Thank you!0

Been using mfp for a few years off and on and had no idea what most of these things meant.0

Hello all, the list has been updated. Enjoy!
I forgot to edit my dates in the top of the post, but otherwise, it was updated 10/22. Many thanks to Steven for reposting the OP!

Thanks for this.
But of course, men of my age always have to do a quick translation for ED. At my age, ED means something entirely different.0 -

Gunna have a squizz later
I had to look that up to see what that meant. If it gets used alot here, I may have add it!
Only place I could find it was on Urban Dictionary: Squizz. Slang for "taking a look" at something. Person, "My leg hurts!" Doctor friend, "Here, let me have a squizz."1 -
Found NEAT on another post, had to google it but lead back to MFP:
NEAT stands for Non Exercise Activity Thermogenesis
Your TDEE would just be the sum of your BMR and your NEAT.0 -
Thank You for this. I am new and this will be a terrific help. I am definitely saving this.:happy:0
