You look amazing. What type of exercise do you do?I'm 5'2!
Thank you! I wish I did but I hate exercise. I've tried zumba, crossfit, hiking etc. but eventually I stop and just do my diet.
I walk my dog for about 15-20 minutes 3x a day. Sometimes I'll use the elliptical in my apartment during a show but not often.0 -
Story is still being written, but I started out in January this year, when I was 10lbs over my highest pregnancy weight, eesh. Started around 183, currently around 140, and planning to get to 120 or so before re-evaluating. I'm 4'11. I barely took any before pictures, and haven't been documenting along the way, really- I still hate the way I look in photos and think I'm huge.
While I've done okay so far, I admit it's definitley getting harder to stay committed, food-wise. I feel like I've restricted so long and I'm getting burned out on that. However, my fitness/exercise is the best it has been in my entire life... and that's with just basic strength training/bodyweight/dumbell work at home, plus Zumba classes and lately- running. I ran not one, but two 5k mud runs this year, and was shocked to find them easy! Want to work up to a harder obstacle run, and also thinking this winter it may be time to start a gym membership and doing some real lifting.1 -

I'm 5'3. I was probably 140 at my heaviest. A couple months ago I decided to go on a 1200 calorie diet & do pure cardio. My ultimate goal weight was always 115 so when one day I finally hopped on the scale & saw I was 114 it changed my whole perspective. I looked unhealthy & I was miserable & I felt deprived I was unhappy. Unhappy with how I looked & felt. I just started nrolfw a month ago & it literally changed my life. I upped my calories & now my goal is to gain strength & confidence & look toned, but above all to be happy & healthy.
One month in & I have biceps now! Ladies feel free to add me I'm always looking for more friends on here for support & motivation2 -

This is really inspiring :-) I'm only 5'1 - 5'2. I've gone from 100lb to over 150lb in the last six or seven years. I'm about 133lb now, trying to lose some more1 -
THIS is a huge inspiration!!!! At 5'2" and 147 lbs I get really discouraged about my legs. I was seriously wondering if my calves would always stay this big...seeing the calf pictures has made my day! Thank you!!!! Now I KNOW my calves can shrink and I'm super motivated!

So inspiring! Great work everyone, and thank you for helping me stay motivated!0

Hi!! I'm Hayley and I am 5'2. I started my weight loss journey about 2 years ago. I was 167 in October of 2011 and today I am 138. I feel so much better about myself and have so much more energy! I am a crazy walker. I walk around 5.3 miles 4-6 times a week now. I started with 30 minute walks and now I am about 1 hour 5 minutes. I watch what I eat most days. But as you probably know "we all fall short" For me, I have to work on self control each and every day!! It is a "fruit of the spirit" I have so much more confidence and actually enjoy trying on clothes. I went from a 10-12 to a 4-6. So I hope this encourages you in some way. Just keep on keepin' on!! There is no quick, easy way to transform your body. You just have to want it bad enough, and work at it everyday!!4

I'm 5'2!
Thank you! I took a good 6 months for most of the weight to come off and I did weight watchers. The last 10-15lbs was gradually over a year because I wasn't as concerned with it. It took me quite a bit because I didn't exercise however, 6 months of dieting did the trick and I know when I need to go back on the diet when my pants get tight.0 -
Ok, I'm 5'2" and started my journey in 2012 after my son was born at 160lbs (first photo)
150 second photo
140 third photo
Today I am 129.
The first year I did p90x. Then this year after a six month break I started running and lifting weights. Today I started insanity.
Good luck ladies.1 -

My HW was 200lbs (5 years ago)
My LW: 115lbs (15 years ago)
My CW: 135lbs (today)
My goal: To tone and lose some of my spare tire that I have aquired throughout the years!1 -
These have all been so inspirational...Thank you to everyone who shared their stories!
Sadly, I think I am one of the biggest on the thread.
I'm 5"0 and weigh 240 (or at least that's what I weighed in the last time I was on the scale) ...so I have well over 100 lbs to lose.
I really have to make this happen and reading through all of these has helped inspire me to get back on track, again.0 -
I'm 5' 2" and 102 lb. I'm very petite, and would like to gain weight in muscle. I just started MFP and would like advice on how to gain this muscle without losing my petite figure.0
