    Yes! Thanks for sharing! I'm totally going to do this! I've been talking about wanting to be able to do lots of push-ups because they are GREAT for arm strength...and really over-all strength! SO, thank you! Maybe we should start this as another group challenge and post our progress??

    Well...then let's do it!!!!! I will be doing them on Tuesday, Thursday, and either Saturday or Sunday. SO...why don't we start a new post weekly and keep each other motivated and updated with our progress!?!

    Who else is in?? And anyone starting today? This can be Week 1 thread and next Monday we'll start "Week 2: 100 Push Ups." Sound good??

    Good! Hopefully some others will join us! I think tonight I will try and do the test...but I'm going to a Body Pump workout right after work and that works the arms also...so we'll see how many I can do tonight. But like I said...tomorrow I will start with day 1 of week 1!

    Okay...so I can do 15 modified push-ups right now. SO...starting tomorrow I will do 3 days a week!

    15 unmodified pushups. Not a bad start... will be getting to the meat of it tomorrow! :)

    Haha, you're not a weakling, you're just not used to it! :) Just think, you could have done no push ups!

    Ooh, will you have me in this challenge too. I would love to join. Looks like a great program. Used to do 20 pushups, but will do the test tomorrow. Or maybe later today, but just did a workout y'day that included many pushups. Would love to be able to pump out 100!

    Well..although I was able to do 15 modified push-ups, I will be following the middle plan since I do have rather weak arms. So, starting tonight. I will be following Day 1 of the 6-10 push ups. I'm going to be doing modified push ups starting out. I'm hoping by week 3 I can start doing the "real" push ups! :wink:

    Well...Good luck to everyone joining me! We can DO this!!!!!!!! :drinker: I will post tonight with how Week 1 Day 1 goes!

    Started out this morning since my neck kept me home from work. I figured the shoulder stretching from pushups might help.

    Did two sets of ten, a set of 8, then a set of 6, but I couldn't reach the seven on the maxing out part. Did ok though I think :)

    Well I did this today. Really pathetic, I was surprised at how few I could do. I've been concentrating on Cardio and I guess I need more balance. That just means this is a really good challenge for me.

    Hey I'm in! I did the test this morning and could do 6 real full pushups. Pathetic! I did day one with modified pushups today. This week will be on my knees. I think next week I can do the first week again with full push ups. I also do Taebo and that works the upper body a lot so I might have to do some weeks over again. I am doing Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday this week but next week I think I will do Mon-Wed-Fri. Cool! I'm glad someone brought this up! My hubby may even join as he's been trying to do pushups and won't want me to get ahead of him. :laugh:

    Hey hey...it's alright! That's the whole point of this challenge! Start SLOW and eventually be able to do 100! I am SO excited to get there!!!! When I do, I might even order myself a tee-shirt!:tongue:

    i'm in, but i just spent an hour and a half in the gym so my arms are already like jelly. will do test later today, but will ahve to start the training tomorrow.

    Likely to skip a week when i am on holiday so you lot will be way ahead ina fortnight.

    ok, 31 press-ups (or us UKers), and now i hurt.

    Always wanted to get better at these (and sit ups) but they don't feature in my gym work. Now i have the motivation i think they might (just need a sit up challenge)

    Wooohooo! Just...literally...just finished doing Week 1 Day 1 (medium group) and I can say that at the end level (max) I did 10. So...can't wait to continue!!!! Yes! First day done! I wish everyone else good luck! I'll be back on Thursday!!!!:drinker:

    Ok, woke up this morning and I can barely move my arms, hahaha. I think tomorrow will be quite interesting! Hahaha

    Granted I don't think this was just pushups though, I did about 3 hours of tennis last night which almost definately helped - I was working on my serves, lol.
