When I made this, I intended to make a different recipe off Pinterest. I accidentally didn't buy enough ingredients, so I made this instead! This turned out way better.

Ingredients:

All my ingredients were bought at Aldi, so it's a budget recipe as well!

Directions:
1. Cook chicken breast in slow cooker to make shredded chicken. (For me, 4 hours on high from frozen with water.)
2. Combine 6oz chicken with 4oz of softened Neufchatel, 1/4c of hot sauce, and 7g of onion soup mix. (I used a hand crank food processor.)
3. Lay out crescent rolls on a pan and spoon buffalo chicken mixture evenly into each one.
4. Roll up the crescent rolls by pulling dough from the bottom to enclose the chicken mixture.
5. Bake at 350F for 15 minutes.
6. Enjoy with ranch or blue cheese!

Sorry I used photobucket. My phone automatically uploads to my account there, so it's the easiest way to link pictures.

Sounds so good! You could also use the filling as a dip and serve with celery sticks :)

I made it and it was awesome. I didn't have onion soup mix so I just carmelized about 1/2 cup of chopped onion and added that to the mix. My BF and 15 yr. old son loved them!

Roll that filling into an egg roll wrapper instead of a thick crescent roll, mist it with just a bit of cooking spray and bake it that way. This will save you a bunch of calories for each roll, and will make the buffalo sauce flavor come through more without so much bread masking things, and a crispy baked egg roll gives it a great flaky crunch.

Makes more calorie room for the blue cheese dressing!
