I did my first fun run on Sunday (14km/9 miles) and did a better time than expected. I couldn't run in January and I have problems with my knees.0

In just under a week from my first spinning class i have gone from 30 minutes dead wanting to vomit tired even from sitting down 28 minutes of that class, to doing 40 minutes standing up... not vomitting! I was so proud of myself! 6 days of spinning thats all and i feel so much stronger!0

Nice job everyone! I'm so excited because I went ice skating today (briskly) for 2 - 30 minute non-stop sessions. I wasn't feeling much from that so later I walked/jogged for 3 miles and still had enough energy to fit in a 15 minute lifting session. This is huge for me because 2 years ago I couldn't ice skate for 5 minutes without needing to stop to catch my breathe. I'm so freaking proud of myself!0

2 weeks ago it was taking me 45 minutes to walk a mile and last week I walked a mile in 20.20 minutes.0

In October, I rode a 220km (136 mile) bike race, finished inside my goal time, in 34C (93 F) degree heat with a headwind for 120km. Over 8 hours in the saddle. 8500cal burn for the day.
I did the final 70 km without water stops, alone, with no riders visible for several hundred metres ahead or behind me. Just me, the sun and the headwind.
I just wanna go back and staple this achievement to my fat, unfit former self's forehead and scream STOP PROCRASTINATING, STOP MAKING EXCUSES, GET THE *kitten* ON WITH IT.0 -
That sounds seriously hardcore, RR.0

I Rack Pulled 225 the other day. Only thing that gave out was my grip.0

Burpees are the hardest exercise I have ever done. I consider my push up workout a piece of cake compared to burpees. Good job!0

I've been hitting 20,000 steps every day this week!
WOW!! Really, 20,000 every day ... HOW?
Seriously, I have only hit 17k twice and I was running around the city all day.
THIS is awesome !! i need to STEP my game up !!0 -
I started on my HS basketball team for 2 seasons as a 5'10" 225-240 lb fat *kitten* with little natural athletic ability.
Nothing else in my life have I had to work harder for...0 -
It took me 35lbs, and 3 months but I can do 5 chin-ups now!0

I've been working out since I was 19 years old which adds up to 36 years....that's a lot of sweat. The longest break I've taken in all that time has only been 4 weeks.0

Finally pulled 355lbs on a deadlift for a PR, then did 205 for 4x4 on front squats, finished with 40 feet walking lunges with 120 across the shoulders. The next day was a rest day0
-
pushed 920 for 3 reps on leg press after 4 sets of squats and 4 sets of deadlifts.... the 920x3 was my 4th set on leg press also.0

That sounds seriously hardcore, RR.
thank you...it sounds so huge and impressive. But on the day it was very simple; ride another 5km. Head down, get on with it. Repeat.0
