Starbucks Venti Salted Caramel Mocha. 510 calories.
An extremely rare moment of no self-control. I couldn't even limit myself to a tall.
I have a venti skim chai a few times per week and fit it in my macros0 -
The ice cream that put me over my calories for today.0

no vegetables... at all...0

Two heaping servings of white rice (like probably about 2 cups). It's what I used to eat a lot of before I lost weight because I love it. I try not to let myself have it too much and today I didn't stop myself after one serving. Ugh.....0

Six hobnobs, half an apple turnover and a bowl of leftover seafood rice?0

It's sad that so many people feel guilty.
And even sadder the things for which they feel guilty.0 -
I ate an entire pack of cookies yesterday, over and above my Calorie goal. No guilt whatsoever. I've had a crap week, cookies make me happy, and in the grand scheme of things my intake is still well tailored to my activity level. What's to feel guilty about?0

Tooo many plain greek yogurts with berries. It's super healthy my favorite treat but also binge food when I have insomnia and get hungry in the wee hours. Do you think I should just remove the most sugary plain greek yogurt with nutritious berries from my dirty so I don't have associated blood sugar spikes and binges? I would just need a health sweet tooth satisfying replacement for snacks maybe chocolate protein powder?
Have you guys ever decided to remove a healthy but personal binge food in order to keep your eating more balanced and not go overboard with cals?
I'd be super grateful for your insight experience knowledge share. Multiplicity of thanks rockstars ???? today and always!!0 -
a small packet of haribo cola bottles dont feel guilty but feel its a waste of calories, just ate didnt think got them in parcel from home from my sis because i cant buy them where i live... so not worth it would have preferd to blow my calories on something filling and delicous oh well its in my belly now no use complaining!0

I don't feel guilty, but I wasted about 400 calories or so on a McDonald's grilled chicken snack wrap with ranch and a small fry...I'll hopefully have better luck tomorrow0

Ohhhhh definitely the greek yogurt covered caramel popcorn from Costco.. Buuuut I earned it by going to bikram yoga, so am I really feeling guilty about it? Maybe, but only because I should have eaten more protein instead.0

Guilt is something I used to experience around food when I was struggling with other general stresses of life in younger years. As I've gotten older and been able to more accurately separate out my negative feelings and accurately figure out their origin more often than not it has had nothing to do with the food consumed....it is more about the underlying emotional state I'm in at the time and in the end the overindulgence takes the brunt of the self-loathing/disappointment and guilt.
Your posts make me feel such compassion....I clearly remember these awful feelings of remorse and the seemingly endless need to indulge in a good dose of self-hate and remorse....which only debilitates our self-esteem, sucks our positive energy dry and leaves us vunerable to repeating the cycle of self-soothing to self punishment again and again.
Please please don't let this happen for you .....really look beyond the surface of the over-eating/remorse cycle and ask yourself the hard questions of why are you punishing yourself this way. Take heart.....self-acceptance and relaxing (not abandoning goals) can come with more life experience.....but get all the help and support you can to end this destructive cycle (manifesting in food issues), nurture yourself and end the self-flagellation.
The level of sad around this topic and all the others like it, is a heartbreaking read.
Good luck to everyone who has shared so honestly.

2 bakery cinnamon buns and 6 oreos. Being so honest is difficult! In the name of positivity I shall remind myself that I've joined to keep better track of such habits :x Cheers!0
