I've some ginger in my multicoloured beard. Surely that must count for something?
The ginger beard is the finest of beards, you are welcome in our ranks!
ginger beard????? YES PLEASE! My hubby has a red mustache....hahahaha yeah....a 70's porn stache.....clearly I pick my battles0 -
Ooooooh, me! Me! I'm a ginger! Complete with super pasty, easily-burned skin, green eyes, and (when I've been in the sun, or looked at the sun, or thought about the sun) freckles...
These days I wash it in a goop I make myself out of powdered indigo plant, which should make it dark brown or black, but on me it just turns darker red...0 -
Lol. Not a post I expected to see lol. I think the pasty skinned people have special needs in the fitness world! We can't tan and show off our muscles as much. The reflecting sun minimized the definition of our fabulous physiques. :P Plus we need to eat more anti oxidants to combat sun damage.0

Never a more true Ginger statement has been made......in the sun I become one huge freckle0 -
My dad was a ginger, my son is a ginger (day-walker, actually). I had strawberry blonde hair as a kid and I carry the gene, too.
Am I in?
Daywalker lol. I was going to write that but thought nobody would know what I was talking about. of course! ha.0 -
Ohhh I have naturally auburn hair, I embrace it now! I have Freckles and my skin is very fair too0

I pretty much have ginger skin. I spend the summer with my left arm perpetually sunburned from my car window.0 -
I am as ginger as ginger can be! We really do need to stick together because they say we are going extinct.

We all need to start linking up more, and saving redheads for generations to come!
Feel free to add me I am always in for more redheads, or fans of redheads.0 -

Lolol. I'd've got it too... Plus even though I live in rural California these days, I'm from Colorado, so it's more or less mandatory that I watch that show.
And speaking of non-gingery relatives, I'm the only one this generation that got it. One parent of swarthy eastern european ancestry, one of mostly irish ancestry, but the last ginger in my line before me was my grandad...0 -
ME I use to hate my red hair because I got picked on a lot for it. My mom swore if she ever had a redheaded baby, she'd dye it's hair...that's how much she loved redheads! She ended up with two of us!
Now that I'm older and know that we are a rare population (somewhere around 2% of the world's population), I embrace my red hair and blue eyes! I'm rare and proud of it!!0 -

A-ha! I knew some of my FL would eventually show up. I do have a small collection of fellow gingers. Why do you think I'm always plotting world domination?0 -
Fellow ginger checking in! (:0

Really poorly written article.
Not sure how redheads would be extinct by 2060.
But yeah. Gingers FOREVER!!!0 -
IN FOR GINGER .0

I am also a ginger ninja0

Thanks for your replies, busy at present but will look later.
Those who said they were strawberry blonde, I forgot that one. But you are such a rare being, most are just self loathing gingers. I have only known one true strawberry blonde in my life. It's like bumping into unicorn down the highstreet0 -
I adore redheads. I do! Sadly my color is not real, but my hairdresser insists that nature got it wrong.0
-
Redhead from birth, anyone can add me. :flowerforyou:0

Lol. A unicorn! Love it0 -
Been a redhead since birth and it took me many years to embrace my fate. Now I love it0
-
I'm just a ginger groupie..... Carry on whilst I creep0
-
I had auburn hair -- until it turned gray. However, I missed it so much that I made it auburn again. Does that count? I really can color my hair and yet declare myself a redhead. If no one believes me, all they have to do is look at my skin--freckles and all!0
-
If y'all wanna get geeky, we won't go extinct in 2050 or after. The genetic mutations that cause red hair (MC1R) are passed by genetic drift, and will always be in our gene pool. B-)0
-
Redhead from birth (complete with green/'hazel eyes and freckles) though it has gotten much darker as I have gotten older. Now it's a lovely shade of dark auburn.0
-
Redhead here! And happy to be one.0
-
I'm strawberry blond, but not a ginger. No freckles. lol0

Strawberry blonde actually.....my kids are straight up orange/really red.....love it0 -
Copptop since '85.
Depending on the sun exposure, I'm either a pasty auburn or a blistered redhead.0 -
I'm in! I started as a strawberry blonde. It got much oranger (is that a word?) as I got older. It was a really pretty red during my 20's and now it is going back to strawberry blonde. But I guess I qualify through all my natural color changes. LOL I also have the fair skin, freckles and hazel (green-blue) eyes.0
