I have to say mine is plow or folded plow pose! :)
I enjoy shoulder stands and then going into plow and folded plow.

Great way to finish a class!

I haven't gotten to handstands yet! Maybe someday.

Haha I love pidgeon and child's pose! I could totally fall asleep doing both.

Wheel or crane. The focus I muster for either feels like meditation--so empowering.

I love the feeling after half twists when you bind! So amazing.
(is the pose really called "Half Lord of the Fishes Pose"?)

Cat/Cow pose, bound angle pose, downward facing dog, and lord of the dance pose. Usually get a good stretch with these.

    LOL @ Irish yoga!!

I like too many poses, for different reasons :) If I want to stretch most all of what I need stretched at once, I love Reclining Frog Pose. I come into that one from the top back. Pushing off the floor doesn't really do it for me the same way (same with wheel).

    This one:

For another full stretch feeling, I love Pigeon where you lie down over the front leg first and then do the various back-arched things. Move the front leg a bit to finish with a split and everything is stretched out so great!

Half Lord of the Fishes, that is the very best stretch for me.

    Bow pose!

When I'm doing that regularly, my back pain is completely gone. My gym is training a new yoga instructor though, and she has pretty much only done standing poses during the last few classes. :(

  • peacock pose...its hard, requires strength and balance and when I am doing it and holding it I feel the rewards of all my time on my mat building into it as an exquisite finale (can't always manage it...like when I am focused on primarily bikram and not as inclined to the vinyasa practice)

Pigeon is my favorite for resorative relaxing poses, but as far more active ones my favs are warrior 3 and dancing shiva. It took me a while to get those so when i do them now I feel pretty proud of my hard work.
