Here's 1 of the stories on it... http://www.ktvu.com/news/news/special-reports/doctors-warn-breast-cancer-link-keeping-cell-phone/nS57R/
Sounds like these girls wore their phones in their bras constantly, not just for a 20 minute to 2 hour run two to three times a week. I'm not worried.0 -

I was just getting ready to ask about the increase of testicular cancer due to cell phones. You beat me to it!0 -
THAT IS THE COOLEST THING I HAVE EVER SEEN!!! Thank you so much for sharing. I have to order that.0 -
I am sure there is probably an arm band that would fit it but right now I just put my iphone in my bra.
The advantage of doubling & tripling sports bras is that my phone doesn't budge when I wedge it under the straps!0 -
If you have a waterproof case I would carry it in a jogger's belt but if not I would remove it from the case and put it in a large, sealed sandwich bag to keep the sweat out.0

Bra is not a good spot. For one, the sweat can damage your phone and second, it is very unsanitary. Do you want sweat creeping into the spaces and building up on something you don't wash?0

I double up on the sports bras (because I want those suckers strapped down!) and put my phone in the pocket in between. Holds my phone nicely and I don't get it sweaty!0

I have a large chest and am too cheap to buy a super expensive bra...so I "double bag" the girls. This gives me a nice pocket between the two bras that holds my phone and ID.0

I didn't like my armband so I found a "fanny pack" that my phone fits in and I love it. my husband makes fun of me but I don't care and I've seen tons of other runners with them0

I see so many people doubling sports bras to carry their phones!! I would respectfully ask you take a look at something I invented! www.isportsbra.com After multiple prototypes i created a secure pocket you can access easily and not even know you are carrying a phone! Let me know what you think!0

I'm honestly not saying this to be rude or argumentative...but could you leave it home? How long is your run? An hour, tops? I always leave my phone in my locker at the gym or yoga...whatever it is has to wait for those, why not a run? I know I concentrate on my workout WAY better when I'm not checking for text messages constantly. If you use it for music, like an iPod...well, that's different.
I use mine for tracking, music and safety. I have broken an ankle on a run and have been attacked by a dog. Both required immediate phone calls. For safetly reasons alone, I would highly suggest people run with their cell phones.
That being said my phone is huge and my arms small. So thr armband option was a train wreck. So I use a SPI belt and love it.0 -
I either wear running bottoms with a bum pocket as it doesn't bounce about. Or I use an arm pouch. But that sometimes chafes my under arm0
