    WOW it is great to see all the people getting in their mileage by joining this group!!!!
    It was another beautiful day so I took my 3 furry kids and we ran 6.5 miles!! I now have 80.5 miles to go!!! Hope the weather stays nice so I can continue to run outside in the fresh air instead of inside on the"dreadmill"!!!
  • I'd love to join the challenge as well. This is such a great idea. I rode the bike for 3 miles and walked for 1 mile today for a total of 4 miles today. Tommorrow is a swim day. Hope swimming counts!

    Of course swimming counts!!! It's great exercise. Welcome to our new additions. Check in whenever you would like with the number of miles or kilometers that you have put in :flowerforyou:

    So, I decided to go to the gym and got in another 7 km.

    25 km down, 132 to go!

    Yikes .. maybe the accountability will make me train for that January half. So, I'm starting as of November 01 and my goals are N to B running by Christmas, and weekly by bike.
    Running Nov 1: 5.5k, Nov 02: 10k is 15.5km, 151.5 to go.
    Cycling Nov 01 was 40, Nov 02: 6k (UPHILL!!!!!!!) 111 to go this week.

    Those tickers are soooo cool! I am computer dense but am wondering HOW you make them??

    Today was a gym day while waiting to get new tires put on my car. I had a "chatter" by me while on the elliptical and when I last looked it was 3miles. I will go with that although it was a little more and then I lifted weight and did ab work for another 35 minutes! A good overall workout!! I have 77.5 miles to gooooooo!!!!!

    (just figured this one out myself):

    Go to www.tickerfactory.com , click on fitness/exercise tickers and follow the directions. Then, copy and paste the code from the site into your signature. To add more miles, simply return to the site and press the "add" button next to the accumulated value.

    I am obviously doing something wrong! I got to where the box's where we copy/paste the code but I am getting the http/url writing and NOT my ticker that I had made! What now? I am a duh, sorry!!!

    Some of your code is missing, I just double checked mine. It should look something like this:

    Getting it!! But I checked large/Dark but it is small and light!! I get irritated over "simple" things like this!!!!

    Cycling Nov 03: 67.5km - 43.5 to go this week
    Running - error on Nov 01, 6.5k, not 5.5, so 150.5 to go. Not as easy as the cycling ...

    Will have to sort myself a ticker out too - way cool!

    Tamcrit told me about this challenge and I would love to join you. I started today. I have been on this site for a long time. Just haven't posted on the boards. I think it is a great site for logging food and exercise and my hubby and daughter are on here too.

    Only got in 1.5 miles today due to sneezing, drippy nose and a slight temp going on!! That makes 23.6 down and 74 to go!!

    I plan to report my results every Wednesday since that is my weigh-in day. So starting 10/29/10 and ending today, I have walked 10.1 miles! Whoop!

    I love everyone's activity tickers! I'm going to go see what I can find. Good luck everyone! Keep up the good work! :)

    Cycling - 43.5 to go for my weekly 157 challenge.
    Running - Nov 4: 6.3k, so 134.2 to go.

    Not enough oxygen getting to the brain with all this running. Had my sums well confused the first two days!

    Great work everyone!!! I'm up to 38 km now and I'm totally creaming my hubby whose done 20 km so far. However, I have a feeling he could totally catch up to me if he wanted to!

    I'm putting in my pedometer mileage. I've knocked out almost 40 miles already! From now on, will update on my Weigh In day. Tuesday!
