Are you making fun of the woman who was in the news? The one who looks pregnant after she eats because of an unidentified condition?

Good thing your stomach isn't very big to begin with.

This happens to me too! i've heard that it's just gas, and also if you don't chew your thoroughly, it can cause this. I don't know how true any of that is. I just go with it and use it as part of my charm  . lol

^^^ LOVE IT! just go poop!

It's probably in your head. I am sure when you eat and become full your tummy does expand. However it will go down once you eliminate the food!

An inch or two is quite normal. And if it's that big of an issue with your clothes, I respectfully suggest your clothes are a little too tight to begin with.

If you're really concerned, it may be a good idea to see a GI specialist.

I don't know if im explaining my self right.. the clothes are fit but not tight. When i eat i can tell my shirt is tighter, but like someone has mentioned it could just be me being too self conscious. i just hate that feeling of being full im odd haha

Have you tried taking a quality probiotic to help with digestion? Try it if you haven't. You will be pleasantly suprised how much better you feel. Give it a good 30 days to build up in your system.

if you want to be mean or sarcastic you can go to another page.. just asking if others feel this or if i should go see someone about it.

  • I do the same thing, always have. Idk what causes it bc it happens no matter what I eat. I used to skip meals before going out so I wouldn't bloat up.

same here!! it feels so uncomfortable when ever i eat even just a normal or small proportioned meal

It is actually quite common to expand a bit after eating or drinking. You are ingesting several ounces of food and or fluid and it takes some time for it to process. Chewing carefully (as was mentioned earlier) and eating slowly so that you don't ingest air as well will help some of this.

Certain clothes especially those that are fit to you will certainly show this expansion. if you are bothered by it, wear clothing with a bit of give to allow for this temporary expansion.

Mine does too. It's because it's full of stuff. Get over it.

ETA: Unless you're experiencing pain or discomfort, which you didn't mention. That's when I'd suggest a GI.

If it concerns you that much, ask your doctor about it. They can check and rule out any medical issues that might be underlying.

That is a good idea. Could be IBS.

What is your diet like? Is it very high in fibre?

    Spanx. :)

Seriously, the food has to go somewhere. And it is perfectly healthy for it to go to your stomach. And to show. I am a pretty hefty girl and even I notice the difference!

Check with a doctor to assure yourself. But I hope your puffy tummy doesn't create such an issue that you stop eating healthily.
