What are your most frequent foods? Are you proud of them?
Replies
-
Eggs, carrots, peanut butter, beef, chicken, beer, cheese, milk, broccoli, and apples
eta: I don't really think of being "proud" of my food. I eat it because its what I like, and that includes the birthday cake and donuts I enjoyed today0 -
I'm proud of every single food entry in my database.0

Proud? Maybe - I am proud that I don't adhere to a rigid plan and can have things I enjoy without calling them "treat meals." I'm proud that I mostly eat real butter instead of butter like substance. But I would say that if butter like substance came with my pancakes in a restaurant I'll still eat it - I just don't bring it into the house.0 -
Well I just pasted the first page. It seems there are a lot of overlaps so more entries then 10 but a lot that are similar foods I'm not sure how to clearly condense it. I think I just reuse organic/no organic freely don't actually eat so much organic but easier than finding a new entry. Also do the same thing with differrent brans of the same type of food figure calories similar enough; do you guys do that?

I don't really have an opinion attachment concern about "proud" it's more like that's what feels healthy enough/has been readily available enough to show up on the list. Some of it wouldn't be on the "RECENT" tab cause I'm bored of it now.
A differrent challenge would be our top goal foods maybe0 -
1. Soy Cappuccino

Hello
The frequent foods list is one of the tabs you can see when you have clicked to add food to your diary, if you are looking for it.
Tea is at the top of my list and it is staying there!0 -
My current top 10:
onions
semi-skimmed milk
garlic
olive oil
Weetabix
rapeseed oil
eggs
turmeric
blueberries
new potatoes
I have actually just taken a break from tracking my food (and gained weight as a result). This is helping to motivate me to get back to it. I feel so much better eating home-cooked meals.0 -
this is very interesting to see0

Jones All Natural Sausage Patties
Mayonnaise
La Tortilla Factory - Small Flax/Oat Tortilla High Fiber/Low Carb
Peanuts
Cream Cheese
Eggs
Hard Salami
Cucumber
Tanqueray Gin
Broccoli Florets
Beef - Ground
Seems about perfect for my very low carb, high fat, moderate protein diet! Aside from the gin, of course!0 -
Rice
Avocado
Egg McMuffin
McDonald's creamer
Peanut Butter
Orange
Taco Bell Mexican Rice
Quick Added Calories
Honey
Banana
There's no way to make this a recent analysis so right now it's including things that I ate really frequently months ago but not necessarily within the last few weeks or couple months. Avocado and Quick added calories come to mind. Um.. .the rest are pretty legit. I think I could do better. The McMuffin hits all the right spots and is fairly low in calories (300), but somehow it just seems like it'd be better to cook at home!0 -
Here's what mine say:
Olivia's Organics - 50/50 Blend Baby Spinach/Spring Mix
Wegmans - Large Cucumber - Sliced W/Skin Qty:
Generic - Sashimi - Bluefin Tuna (Maguro)
Whole Foods - Sushi - Ginger Qty:
Olivia's Organics - Spring Mix Salad
Dole - Shredded Carrots Qty:
Generic - Blackberries, Raw Usda Info
Awe Sum Organics - Organic Blueberries (Fresh, Raw)
Generic - Steamed Shrimp 113 g (4 oz)
Golden Corral - Steamed Spinach
Am I proud of them?
Nay or yay. Kinda surprised cause I didn't know I liked/ate carrots that frequently.
Guess its just all of the above really what has been most readily available as of late.
Doesn't have to be the best or exactly favorite.
Make sense?0 -
Tea, red wine, white wine, cider and real ale.
Am I proud of this? Darn right I am!
In all honesty, I eat a wide variety of foods, especially home-cooked (my recipe list now runs to four pages, and that's only in the last four months). Tea is about the only thing I log every single day. So I'm not too worried that my frequent foods list reads more like a pub round (or bar order, depending on your origins...)0 -
Chicken, porridge, couscous, salad, plain natural yoghurt. Not proud. It's just stuff I eat to achieve my goals. I guess I'm proud of my goals, although I tend to focus on the goals I have yet to achieve which is a bit depressing!
One day: http://youtu.be/kw0kXtvOpfU0 -
1.Coffee, it was made by God just for me, because he loves me:drinker:
2. Rice, it goes with everything and when you have a Korean wife there is ALWAYS rice in the house (and Kimchi)
3. Chicken, Its just GOOD!
I have no idea how to be proud of food? "Yay food way to replenish my Nutrients!"0 -
1) coffee
2) onions
3) tomatoes
4) garlic
5) laughing cow cheese
6) coconut oil
7) carrots
8) apples
9) honey
10) 2% milk
i'm neither proud nor ashamed
i try not to attribute morality to the food choices i make (unless it has to do with ethical issues of how the food gets to my plate i.e. abuse of farm workers/food pickers, etc). it's just what i eat0 -
I started eating mostly supplements due to the high content of additives in food. I am taking in:
Breakfast- Slimfast Shake
Lunch- Slimfast Shake
Dinner- Yogurt Fat Free
and then Prenatels-Vitamin D-Folic Acid- FIsh Oil and tons of water and green tea.
Only thing I'm mad at myself about is the amount of coffee I drink daily. Wish I could cut it out of my diet totally!0
