I got some good stuff but, one was Ratchet straps. Not that I won't get any use out of them but, I have a ton of them already.

I got a "Splatter Cover" for the microwave from my wife..... :noway:

My wife sucks at giving gifts. She actually thought I would enjoy this. Funny thing is, she uses the microwave more than me. I actually cook my dinners on the stovetop.

I got a few "odd" gifts, but I asked for them:

    toilet seat/lid
    MANY rolls of Scotch tape
MANY packs of sugar free gum (like 300 pieces of gum)
huge bags of black walnuts, regular walnuts, and some cocoa almonds

The oddest gifts I didn't ask for were FUN random & awesome toys, stickers, and miscellaneous from my husband (stocking stuffers) and a 2-pack of cheap plastic razors from my mom (no clue on that).

I wouldn't call it odd, necessarily, but my hubby's WENCH step sister gave us baked goodies....3 kinds of cookies...they all have coconut in them....

    I AM ALLERGIC TO COCONUT!!!!

And since I have been with my hubby for 14 years now, she KNOWS this.

Well...my absolutely adorable 7 year old son (who actually usually picks out decent jewelry) got me a necklace and earring set. Rather large hearts that are leopard print. I am going to have to be very strong to push myself to wear them to make him happy. Very strong.

Not this year - but last year...

My aunt (who has given me an ornament every year since I was born) began giving my son an ornament every year. I was thrilled that she would transfer this tradition.... Except, when we opened it there was a little african american baby riding on a swan that said "Baby's First Christmas". Um, well, ok. LOL My son is definitely caucasian, but we don't hate! She said she loved the ornament so much, but "all the little white babies were gone!"

Seriously, I love it. It was just super strange :ohwell:

Sort of a gag gift from Hubs - I've been talking to him lately about trying to update our bathroom a little and wanted a new toilet paper holder. So he got me a pretty pedestal one with a brushed nickel finish! LOL!

Whoever got you that must have stolen it from a bar. I mean, you can't buy that stuff, can you?

Those that know me KNOW that I have a very loud voice. In the Army it was called a "command voice." Let's just say that my voice carries, WELL! Someone gave me a bullhorn. A BULLHORN! Granted it was a gag gift, and I do laugh every time I think about it!

LOL that's awful! And now you have to carry it around or risk offending her!
