So I'm looking for a substitute for mayo when I make my tuna. I'm not a fan of tuna just by itself. I really don't know how I feel about light mayo or miracle whip. I'm not totally against them, just never have tried them. I welcome all ideas! Thanks so much!

HUMMUS.... this is my lunch EVERYDAY and I love it.

package of tuna, a couple tbsp of roasted red pepper hummus and chopped hardboiled egg whites. Eat with whole wheat pita chips. Looks like cat puke but tastes awesome. The hummus cuts the fishiness.

    avocado

First time I ever had tuna I realized I didn't have any mayo or plain greek. I had an avocado.
Make sure it's pretty soft tho

Having a hubby that doesn't eat Mayo---I have been there.

    Mustard (spicy or regular)

    Hummus

    Olive Oil

Lemon Pepper or other "dry spice"...different texture, but yummy.

Hope you find one that meets your needs!

I like light mayo so I have no problem using it. You could put a little and then barely increase it until you get the consistency you want. I like canned tuna on salad. If you mix it in and add dressing, veggies etc it might not be too "tuna-y" and you'll still get the benefits of eating the tuna.

I use light miracle whip and don't really see much of a difference. The only problem with it is if you make a big batch, the leftovers can get a little watery. Same thing happens if you use light MW in things like coleslaw or pasta salad - leftovers are more watery than if you use the regular version.

I use light mayo, hot sauce, soy sauce, avocado, all those things are good. Light mayo is way better than full fat mayo in my opinion. You can get the light mayo with olive oil and its pretty good too.

Try Reduced Fat Mayo with Olive Oil and Cracked Pepper. (Kraft, maybe?)
I despise Tuna but my hubby loves this combo.
