    I don't know why you'd want to lose so much so fast. My goal is to practice good habits so that I don't gain it back later. Also, my brother lost a bunch too fast and is now talking about surgery for his loose skin. :ohwell:

    Hello people , I just found this forum and couldnt resist registering because Id like to answer some of the posts on here. But first, this thing only has a setting for losing 2lbs a week?? LOL, I been steady losing 3-9lbs a week for the last 4 months. C'mon, no mandate for the heavy wieght? And I also disagree with the calculated calorie intake recommended.

    OMG! How do you lose 9 lbs a week????

    By stapling your lips shut for the two weeks leading up to it..

    From the 'resports' in MFP:

    That's 10lb in the first six days, then popped up to 8lb (the first one was when I'd got up to relieve myself in the night, scales are in the bedroom and normally weigh before going to the toilet.)
    I'm aiming for around 1lb/week, so ended up bumping my calories up a bit as it was going down quicker than I wanted.
