Boobs are just fat. Every woman who loses weight starts to lose boobs as well. No way to avoid that.

boobs aren't exactly "just fat" although there is a lot of fatty tissue and they can become smaller when you lose weight...

It's funny a guy would say that about boobs, but anyway not all boobs are fatty, some are actually dense which means there is little fat tissue there.

Well I certainly want to be healthy and get to my goal weight, but if my boobs start to disappear thats when I stop loosing and just tone.......I like my body to look feminine and curvy and so does my husband
So, since I assume by "tone" you mean "get more defined-looking", and the only way to accomplish that is to lower body fat, how do you propose to do that and prevent the fat in your breasts from being lost?

I see this topic posted at least every other day on here! Don't stress about it so much - I've had small boobs my entire life (large A/small B), and while I do get insecure about them sometimes, I wouldn't trade them for larger ones or get implants because I'm so used to the perks (literally and figuratively!) that come along with not having big boobs. Here's a list:

    1) any sports bra will do, for any activity - jumping up and down is not painful!
    2) When you take your bra off, your girls stay in their original upright position.
    3) We never had to say "my face is up here..."
    4) Not having to conceal ginormous ta-tas makes it easier to find office-appropriate clothing.
    5) If you want a boost, there are plenty of non-surgical options (i.e. chicken cutlets) - but no one can put on a thin suit!
    6) People don't snap-judge and assume you're a slut.
    7) Less likely to have back/shoulder pain.
    8) Breast exams are easier.
    9) Less probability of wardrobe malfuntions occurring at the pool or the beach
    10) Not to be graphic, but in the bedroom, guys who aren't distracted by boobs tend to focus on other areas :)

Another pointer that may help - a lot of bras aren't sized for petite women - the cup sizes may be small, and even the band sizes may be small, but the cup position on the band is all wrong. I have such a hard time finding bras where the cups aren't 2 inches apart and/or the band size is too big and my boobs fall out the bottom if I raise my arms up. Try a fit that is designed for petite frames - they're hard to find, but they are WORTH the effort. My life changed when I discovered The Little Bra Company - they make band sizes 28 and 30, and the cups are close enough together that there isn't a 3 inch gap between your boobs and then the cups are positioned under your armpits! Having the cups in the right position on the band makes a HUGE difference.

    Good luck!

Boobs aren't "just fat" and even when I was a lot leaner I had a rockin' C. Your genetics play a big role. Just get fake ones if you want them.
  • I am happy still have my boobs-rockin size c-and I will keep them:smile:

well- they are granular tissue- but it's granular fat.

No matter which way you hack it- it's still fat.
    I am glad when I lost my 94 pounds-didn't lose my boobs-still also rockin a size-my hubby likes them-I may workout and lift-but I don't want to look like a man-so I am glad I didn't lose my boobs
men with boobs don't look like women...

women without boobs do not look like men.

I find that statement to be boarder line offensive. And I'm damn hard to offend.

A woman without breasts is no less of a woman with full breasts. I am happy you kept yours- but don't assume EVERY woman who has a flat chest looks like a man.

    That's just ignorant.

Read the thread title and thought, "Congratulations!" I say enjoy the perks of having a smaller bust and focus more on the body parts you think are fabulous when boob-envy tries to get the best of you.

LOL, it'd take more than a flatter chest to make a woman look like a man.

    Magic. :)
ive been to my goal weight before so I hopefully will repeat that pattern. I love my boobs and want butt, hips and boobs. Gotta have. I pray they stay full and do not get under a d. Will not be happy.

working on the behind and once that is accomplished ill be ecstatic!
Now this might actually be possible, since you can build more prominent muscle in the rear.

Can we please all agree that a woman is a woman, (and thus "feminine") if she defines herself as a woman, regardless of the shape of her body? Shoot for "curvy" all you want, but it skeeves me to imply that someone's body is not "feminine" if she doesn't have a certain amount of breasts.

Edit: And this also means that while it's great to love being a member of the tiny boobs club, it's not cool to bash large breasts by implication.

Yeah im hoping to round the appearance more or even add a few inches,. Im not flat or anything just want that round a**! Lol

I know it will take time and hoping not to lose what I got. I already lost some. Lol... but ive seen women with flat behinds build a round butt with alot of hard work, patience, and dedication..lol... so guess I gotta do that as well. Im game though.

hmmm didn't mean to offend anyone............ I guess ..yah the more concentration on toning you will loose that fullness, I don't know to much about it all ...learning as I go.......and I didn't mean woman with smaller boobs aren't feminine.....wrong descriptive word! what I meant was......I am okay with some fat reserves! Feminine description is different for everyone! That was a personal statement on how I feel about my own figure ...........I should have kept it to myself So sorry!

I went from a 36H to a 32FF, have lost nearly 4 stone, and as I've been taking measurements as well I know I've lost 6.5" from my bust which is a huge amount for me! But this means I can now buy bras from regular high street shops for much cheapness instead of my specialist big-boobed expensive bra shop, so am a happy camper about that :-)

I feel you. I started at a 38J, currently a 34J. I am hoping as I lose more weight, my cup size will go down (although OH will be devastated).

I was always big, even at 21 when I weighed 112lbs, I had huge boobs. I always said that the rest of my body filled out to balance me out! It does make it a nightmare working out. I tried JM, but pretty much knocked myself out bouncing and I ached in that area the next day. The sorts bras and workout tops just aren't available for larger cup sizes. I just stick to cardio and weights.
