Yes...I deleted mine as well. Just felt no matter what the settings are set to, that there is a huge lack of privacy. Plus I dont see the need to have a few hundred friends whom I no longer see or speak to.0

no Facebook, no pillows, no hot showers, no porn, no regrets.0

Deleted it about a year and a half ago. What made me delete it was realizing how much time/mental resources I used occupying myself with information about other people that I didn't care or want to know. I subsequently lost touch with all those random people I knew from high school, college, grad school, if you can really call it a "loss." The people who are important to me have stayed in touch via other methods. Ironically, the person I now communicate with the most is a friend who has never had facebook, any social media, and doesn't text. We talk for about an hour on the phone at least once a week. If the both of us were on social media, I'm not sure if that would happen.0

No because Candy Crush Saga. Whateverrrrr
You can play Candy Crush without a Facebook account... I do0 -
It is the best and only way I can keep in contact with certain people. I went to military high school and college and my friends I made there are from all over the world. It is the best way I can keep in touch with them, remember birthdays, etc. My profile is so private unless we have a mutual friend you can't even send a friend request. You can see my basic name and that is pretty much it, unless I chose to make an update/picture/etc public. I am sure I would be just fine without facebook but I am actually really thankful to have one so I can keep in touch with people in a very convenient way.0

Because I'm too good at it. Help.0 -
I deactivated mine about a week ago. I was spending too much time on there and no matter what my privacy settings were I noticed that strangees could still see my profile.0

I joined FB when it was first launched several years ago and I deleted my account almost immediately. It scared the heck out of me when it emailed people from my address book to let them know I had an account. It was weird because I used a fake name and people I knew were reaching out to me fast. I know it's silly but I never re-joined; it was a wrap after that.0

I deleted Facebook because I blocked some people and one of them created a fake account and STILL managed to steal and repost my pictures.0

I've never had Facebook.
I sit at a computer all day, i want to get out and see friends or do things with them

I had it less than a month.I deleted it because I got tired of people being very negative. The site is useless because everyone I care about have my number.0

Deleted mine last summer and never looked back. Too much drama, too much mental energy being drained, and if my family really wants to know what I'm up to, they have my phone number. Much happier without it!0

I don't like FB much .. just don't see the purpose of it. But I do have an account to keep up with a very small select group of friends.0

I've never been on Facebook. That kind of thing doesn't appeal to me. MFP is the only social media account I have.0

No FB is for family back home0

I still have mine, but I don't accept friend requests unless I know who they are. Why? I keep in touch with my family and other people that I have met through the colleges I have been to. My high school friends list is very small and people to this very day still have a very hard time finding me.0

No. Deleting my Facebook seems rather dramatic. I haven't really had any bad experiences with it, and it is a great way to keep in touch with all of my high school and college friends.0

I use FB all time time. The city recreation department posts the kid activity schedules, the figure skating club, the hockey league, the lacrosse league, the soccer league, the dance studio, and my Zumba instructors post updates and cancellations and schedules. The gym posts announcements. I get weather updates and road closure info. Local restaurants post their daily specials.
I also like to see what my friends from various stages of my life are up to.
I laugh at the drama , but avoid posting and gettin involved.0
