Have you deleted your Facebook? Why? Why not?

I deleted Facebook because I blocked some people and one of them created a fake account and STILL managed to steal and repost my pictures.0

I've never had Facebook.
I sit at a computer all day, i want to get out and see friends or do things with them

I had it less than a month.I deleted it because I got tired of people being very negative. The site is useless because everyone I care about have my number.0

Deleted mine last summer and never looked back. Too much drama, too much mental energy being drained, and if my family really wants to know what I'm up to, they have my phone number. Much happier without it!0

I don't like FB much .. just don't see the purpose of it. But I do have an account to keep up with a very small select group of friends.0

I've never been on Facebook. That kind of thing doesn't appeal to me. MFP is the only social media account I have.0

No FB is for family back home0

I still have mine, but I don't accept friend requests unless I know who they are. Why? I keep in touch with my family and other people that I have met through the colleges I have been to. My high school friends list is very small and people to this very day still have a very hard time finding me.0

No. Deleting my Facebook seems rather dramatic. I haven't really had any bad experiences with it, and it is a great way to keep in touch with all of my high school and college friends.0

I use FB all time time. The city recreation department posts the kid activity schedules, the figure skating club, the hockey league, the lacrosse league, the soccer league, the dance studio, and my Zumba instructors post updates and cancellations and schedules. The gym posts announcements. I get weather updates and road closure info. Local restaurants post their daily specials.
I also like to see what my friends from various stages of my life are up to.
I laugh at the drama , but avoid posting and gettin involved.0 -
No because I need people to tell me my kids are cute0

I deleted mine about 6 months ago after going on and off deactivating it for the past year. I find the privacy was getting a bit much, and the number of people that would be of the opinion that being friends on there and not interacting at all for 3+ years meant we were maintaining friendship/they could comment on my life to others. Too highschooly. It was handy having birthday reminders. That's pretty much all I miss. It still scares me how easily the site tries to make me reactivate (1-click emails) and all my info is still just 'there' somewhere even though I entered false everything before I opted out.0

I have a couple of facebook accounts, one where I play games and don't know most of the people I have as 'friends', they're just other game players.
And another for family and friends, it's a useful way to keep in contact with some people and I'm not really concerned about the privacy aspect because I accept just how wide open the internet is.0 -
Nope, I keep my account to stay in touch with family and friends. Waay easier than calling.0

I deleted my facebook because i spent too much time on it...i did it initially as an experiment to see how i would adjust to not having facebook in my life and i realised i dont miss it at all.. its like i broke out of a negative habit that did not bring anything positive to my life.
I have been trying to eliminate all the time wasting habits in my life abd facebook was one of them0 -
In 2011 I deleted mine. After my sister who lives in France deactivated hers I didn't see any use of mine anymore. Before that I was still thinking about deleting it because of spam and drama. Also I deleted my Google + today, it felt good0

I have deleted mine several times
now I just keep my friends list very very limited ..like we are talking only 17 people
i reject even people who are related to me and such lol0
