I was wondering what your goal weight is with a heigh of 5'8''?

I am 5'7" and will aim for around 140-150lbs but I have a large frame. I think it depends on what will suit your body type!0

I'm 5'8" and aiming for between 140-145. I really want to be a lean 135 eventually.0

I'm 5'7 and I feel pretty great at 155! I am pretty muscular and have big boobs though (did you know those things can weigh a ton!?) I think it definitely depends on the individual.0

I hit 147 lbs a couple of years ago and am aiming for that again - 20lbs to go0

It was 135, and I actually hit 133 at my lowest. Since then I've gone back up to about 140, but clothes still fit the same.
At this point I'm more interested in lowering body fat percentage, keeping the lean muscle, and laughing at my scale.0 -
Around 140-145 is pretty realistic for me I think. I'm 5' 7.5"0

I have a Medium frame and I'm looking to weigh 138-143. Maybe even as low as 135.0

I'm 5'8" and only been as low as 150 once in my life … I have a large frame (7.5" wrist) and curvy so I will be happy to get between 165-155. Wow, I envy those headed to 130! Enjoy and good luck to you all. Good idea to post this.0

I'm 5'8. Started at 177, currently at 158 and my goal is 140!0

The lowest I've really been is 140 lbs. At this point I am thinking I would like to be around 150-155. I think if I were much smaller it wouldn't look very good on me.0

I'm currently 138 and my overall goal is 125.0

I'm aiming for between 148 - 155 just depending on how I feel once I get there.0

I'm 5'8" and right now my goal is 180 lb.
I think my final goal will probably be in the range of 160-175, but not at all sure.
I am 37 and have usually been in the 260-270 range even as high as 307...I have not weighed 180 since I was 13-14 yrs old, I like my body then when I look at photos but obviously things are a lot different now so who knows.
Right now I'm at 202 lb. When I first started MFP I thought I'd be satisfied with something around 200-220. Definitely not stopping there. So I may get to 160s and reevaluate my goal again, I have no idea.0 -

I'm 5'9" and 54 years old. I just hit 135 today, which is my current target. I still have a bit of belly and butt I'd like to get rid of, so I'll drop a bit more before going to maintenance. This is a lot lower than would have looked good on me when I was younger.0

I'm 5'7 and my GW is 155. I have a pretty large frame and curvy too, and can't really see myself looking good in the 140's, with my bone structure being the way that it is.0

5'8 my goal was 157 because this was my weight my senior yr of high school and i was an athlete.
I still play competitive volleyball.
Now that I've been maintaining at 157 lbs I'm thinking i may go for 155 lbs (bathing suit season is coming)

I'm only 5'7", but I've been maintaining at 130 for a few years now. It seems just about right for my frame, and it seems to be easy to maintain there, so I'm gonna keep it there long term.0

I'm 5'8.5". My initial goal weight was 152. I hit that goal in December of 2011. However, when I got there, I still wasn't happy. A few months later, I got to 135 and have stayed there the past couple years. It's a good weight for me. I look good and feel good.0

I am 5'9". My goal is to be 155 by May when I run my 4th half marathon. At that point, I want to maintain my weight however I will transition from doing high cardio workouts to more lifting to see if I can contour my body that way.
I still had a belly at 150 when I got married (3 kids ago), so I would like to try to lose the belly fat through lifting if that is possible.0 -
I've only been on MFP for about a month and a half, so I'm pretty new to this. But all of your goals are muchhhh lower than mine. I'm 5'7 or 5'8, 18 years old. I was at 160ish when I was about 13, and it was a little chubby. But, now I'm older, and probably a bit taller, so I set my goal for 160. I guess we will see if it should be any lower when I get to that point! I've got quite a bit to go.0

I'm 5'7 and my goal right now is to get to 145. And depending on how I look then, I might lose some more. When I get closer to my goal I'll focus on my fat% more than my weight. But I think most people do that when they hit goal or are close to it.0

I'm 5'8 3/4 my goal is 170. I just don't look right skinny so I doubt I will get that low.will re- evaluate when I get to 1900

i'm about 5'7", and tentatively hoping for around 140. however, when i lost weight a few years ago i got to 148 and was pretty happy with that, so when i get to 150ish i may re-evaluate and decide that 150 is fine and work on toning! about 180 now.0

I agree with the other post, it depends on your frame, my goal is 173-180 I had that weight before and it looked good. I am 5'8 too.0
