21 Day Paleo Cleanse beginning tomorrow, who's interested?

I have started doing Paleo about 3 weeks ago but after the New Years holiday I had fallen off a bit so have decided to do a 21 day cleanse doing strict Paleo. Looking for people who may be interested in doing the same and sharing thoughts, recipes, support etc!

I started this on the 1st January not gone fully Paleo as i haven't cut out my dairy building up to that for February , but still cut out all grain flour, bread, cereal, pasta so dong well at the moment. so im here to help0

Great guys! Some key points is to eliminate bread, dairy (chesse, milk etc...) no grains and stay away from bad carbs like potatoes and pasta. Also no sugar expect for two servings of fruit per day. I use Almond milk in my coffee which works great! Its surely a big change but after about a week you get into a groove. Their are plenty of Paleo recipes online for sure so anyone who trys some recipes that are a hit feel free to share!

I am doing the Paleo challenge, and I have been eating dairy. My trainer said that makes it more 'Primal' than Paleo, but as long as i am not having an issue and it is full fat dairy it is ok0

It's really not meant to be a "diet" in the sense that it, in and of itself, will help you lose weight. From my understanding, this diet is more about helping your body recomp in conjuction with excercise (think crossfit, and lifting weights). It teaches your body to use fats as a form of energy in place of the carbs.
It *can* also be a good diet for those who have gluten sensitivity.
I know plenty of people who follow the paleo diet and love and and have had great success with it. But, as with any diet, people argue that food groups are unnecessarily cut out. To each their own.
ETA: I don't currently eat paleo, but I understand the reasoning behind why some people choose to.0 -

I recently did a 30 Paleo challenge. I did it with friends at the gym. I did not expect to see a difference but I did. I found my gym performance improved significantly and I lost a decent amount in inches mostly stomach bloat. It took a while to get through the sugar reduction and coffee black but now I love it and have decided to stay on it. I find sharing tricks and recipes with a group key. Also it can be a lot of prep. So it is good to plan ahead on the weekend or make big batches that can be used for lunches etc. But trust me it is worth a try.0

This diet makes me sad for you guys.
If I went to my doctor because I felt bad, tired, listless, and the doctor did some tests, and a week later says, "you have blah, blah disease. the good news is that it is easily curable by cutting out most carbs. Try something like the paleo diet, that's about how you should eat from now on. Why don't you try it or 30 days, and come back and let me know if your symptoms have disappeared."
In that scenario, I'd be all over it and give it a whirl. But, to just do it is about as random as someone just saying, "stop eating peanut butter". It's like, yeah, no. Not gonna happen.
I enjoy pasta, rice, bread, corn, peanut butter, and corn chips. I enjoy a bit of cheese and milk and ice cream.
And, I don't have any negative reaction to any of those foods, so I have no reason to join you. Sorry. But, enjoy your self-inflicted non-sensical suffering.

I would love too, but I don't have a source for affordable/good meats/fats. Avocados are $1.50-$3 each here and I cannot afford grain-fed anything, much less find a source for it. We eat deer meat when my DH gets one, but it doesn't last very long. I have several 6ft+ tall people to buy for when I get groceries (they won't go paleo), which doesn't leave me with much $ for the healthy stuff that I need to get. All of the chicken at the store says it has 10% broth/salt/etc added to it. I can kinda afford that, but I don't know it it's good enough. I've already eliminated grains/breads because it makes me feel like crap for days when I eat it. I'm also really sensitive to anything with sugar so I already stay away from that. I've been eating hotdogs, eggs, dill pickles, apples, potatoes, tilapia (when I can find it), kale, spinach, etc.0
