Oh my! I could never eat even close to that amount without getting sick. Glad you enjoyed your dinner though! It looks good.0

In honor of this thread, I ate this for lunch:
:laugh:0 -
I do eat whatever I want but the idea of putting all that meat in my belly isn't really appealing.
Glad you enjoyed it.0 -
Well done! I can smell it from here, making me very hungry. I do have to laugh at that tiny little kale leaf sitting on the plate though.
I hope it wasnt well done LOL. But then Im from cattle country and no one here has a steak thats more than medium.
Awesome!0 -
You cooked your steak too much! Blue rare all the way!0

I LOVE steak, eat it at least once a week but I am not sure I could eat 35 oz of any meat be it beef, pork, or chicken. I have however eaten about 64 oz. of all you can eat snow crab at a place near my house. It helped that I didn't use any butter, and I had 3 Dos Equis while eating them. Yep...my claim to fame.0

I guess I never realized that the weights did include shells...hmmm. The more I think about it though, they served a pound at a time in a Corona bucket, and I did have at least 5 buckets brought...but it probably was only about 48 oz. minus the shells.0 -
All within my calorie goals ( for cutting). As well as meeting micro & macro nutrient needs/goals. The moral of the story is, once again, you can eat whatever you want. You just need to fit the choices within your goals. I only stopped because I met my calorie goal, not because I was full.
Well, I get what you're saying, but most of us could eat whatever we wanted and stay within our calorie goal, if we had 3000 calories to work with... but many of us have much lower calorie goals.0 -

You get it, but some people don't. Those are the ones he's addressing.0 -
How can you maintain at ~3700+? Lots of muscles? Sorry but you don't look that big on your profile pic. I am a hulking 6'3", ~340lbs bro (nowadays) with quite a bit of muscle mass and I'm pretty sure my TDEE is less than that.
Not trying to diss you, I am genuinely curious. How tall and heavy are you? And BF%?0 -
Thanks.... Now I'm starving!!!0

5'10" @ ~ 200-204 right now. My TDEE is pretty high, three days of cardio and 3 days of lifting. I'll run 3-4 miles or so on my rest day, just to move around.0 -
I could NOT eat that much food in a sitting. Not even close. Maybe not even over the course of a full day.
Is what you listed what you ate for the whole day? Not being a smarta**... just curious. Some people do like to save their calories. Just wondering if that's what you did.
That was my question too.... so no other food... all day long?
And no way I could put that much food into my belly at one sitting, I was shocked by that little woman that did the big 72 ozer!0 -
Mmm. That steak looks glorious!
Had steak for dinner last night and now I want it again tonight.0 -

I adjusted my food intake to fit it into my calorie goals. I had a couple cups of Fiber One in the morning, several large plates (4 cups or more) of salad and big piece of cornbread for lunch. A gallon or so of water throughout the day, plus coffee.0
