Ya know... I've had two kids. I have my before and after burned in my brain . And while I miss the before... There's something to be said about the after...

They don't hurt when I lie on my stomach any more.
Xrays... No problem.
Not as much backlash when jogging cuz I can wear a smaller sports bra.
And wow... I can see my pectoral muscles now and they make me look badass! Lol0 -
I took them and was happy with the results. But you don't have to take them if you feel they are unsafe for you.0

Surgery and push up bra's.This may not be an option for you, since you say your boobs are bigger than you like, but I just stopped wearing a bra. Cold turkey. I heard that bras may hinder natural small chest muscles that support the boobs. As I am a smallish A, it wasn't like I needed one, and idgaf if my headlights show every now and then,so I thought why not, I'll give it a try . Fast forward about 6 months later, and I'm showing marked improvement in my girls' perkiness.

I find it surprising that considering how much money is made in the lingerie industry, not a single company has released a study showing that bras prevent sagging. It seems like Nike, or Moving Comfort, or Victoria Secret or Warner's, or anybody should have tried to claim their bra prevents sagging. It makes me suspicious the way we all should have been suspicious that the cigarette companies weren't proving that cigarettes were healthy but just contributing to the rumors. I wonder if there are some studies sitting in a drawer somewhere that the bra companies don't want us to see.......
After reviewing all the literature, my personal practice over the last 18 months has been to go braless as much as possible at home and running errands to promote general ligament health, but to wear a sports bra when I'm going to be bouncing heavily (such as running). I wear a regular bra only when I'm in a work situation or on a date and want the girls to "appear" perky. I'll even take it off from under my shirt and put it in my bag for the commute home from a meeting. I used to be one of those people who wore a bra every waking minute.
Since 18 months ago, the distance from my collarbone to nipples has shorted by almost 2 centimeters. I'm a size 34DDD.And the ugly bra indentations on my shoulders are going away. Of course, this is anecdotal because I'm a study of one and there are so many other factors at play.0 -

You all have convinced me to do my own study on myself.0 -
I would like to know myself. I am in my mid 30's with about 85lbs to lose and I do have concerns about my bust and sagging skin in general. Things like water intake, having the best nutrition you can for your calories i.e. eating whole foods rather than ready meals etc, supplements, balancing your hormones should help I think. Also using essential oils and massage might help certain oils like geranium have compounds in them which can alter breast tissue composition (in vitro at least) there are also some comercial treatments on the market that also use that principle in the UK we have something you can get at boots called "Bust Fix" which gets good reviews.0

First of all, just love your boobs. There is no such thing as perfect boobs, all boobs are different shapes and sizes.
Secondly, wearing a bra vs. not wearing a bra is still up for debate. Some studies say it reduces sagginess, some say it makes it worse, and some say it has no effect at all. So just d what you are comfortable with. Obviously, a well-fitted push bra will create the illusion of less sagginess, so that may be an option.
Thirdly, don't waste your time/money on 'herbal breast enhancement'. It's a scam. At best you've lost some money, at worst you'll get weird side effects.
And lastly, surgery is your only guarantee for dramatically changing your breast. And even that isn't certain, surgery can only do so much for your body type, and it doesn't always go as planned. It carries it's own risk too.
And a ps- despite some posters' opinions, boobs don't always have a 'higher' purpose, they can just be girly sexual objects if you want them to be, and that's fine.0 -

After reviewing all the literature, my personal practice over the last 18 months has been to go braless as much as possible at home and running errands to promote general ligament health, but to wear a sports bra when I'm going to be bouncing heavily (such as running). I wear a regular bra only when I'm in a work situation or on a date and want the girls to "appear" perky. I'll even take it off from under my shirt and put it in my bag for the commute home from a meeting. I used to be one of those people who wore a bra every waking minute.
Since 18 months ago, the distance from my collarbone to nipples has shorted by almost 2 centimeters. I'm a size 34DDD.And the ugly bra indentations on my shoulders are going away. Of course, this is anecdotal because I'm a study of one and there are so many other factors at play.
You all have convinced me to do my own study on myself.
Yeah- I am inclined to agree with more studying needs to be done.
Gravity would indicate otherwise.
Also every picture every in national geographic also indicates otherwise.
But I'm not inclined to do more research... I just tend to believe gravity over someone's better than likely financially driven study.0 -
Wear a supportive bra. Eat lots of protein (1g/lb lean body mass at least). Pray. :flowerforyou:

Surgery and push up bra's.This may not be an option for you, since you say your boobs are bigger than you like, but I just stopped wearing a bra. Cold turkey. I heard that bras may hinder natural small chest muscles that support the boobs. As I am a smallish A, it wasn't like I needed one, and idgaf if my headlights show every now and then,so I thought why not, I'll give it a try . Fast forward about 6 months later, and I'm showing marked improvement in my girls' perkiness.

I find it surprising that considering how much money is made in the lingerie industry, not a single company has released a study showing that bras prevent sagging. It seems like Nike, or Moving Comfort, or Victoria Secret or Warner's, or anybody should have tried to claim their bra prevents sagging. It makes me suspicious the way we all should have been suspicious that the cigarette companies weren't proving that cigarettes were healthy but just contributing to the rumors. I wonder if there are some studies sitting in a drawer somewhere that the bra companies don't want us to see.......

how they hell can you run with one bra if you are a 34DDD? I am a DD and need two bras for gym.
How do you wear anything without a bra and do normal activities???0 -
1 - I ALWAYS wear a bra. I can't go without, I feel too weird.

how they hell can you run with one bra if you are a 34DDD? I am a DD and need two bras for gym.
How do you wear anything without a bra and do normal activities???
To clarify, I do try to restrict movement for exercise which will strenuously stress the ligaments. For running, I wear an underwire sports bras with a running top over it. My running tops have one of those shelf compression bras built in. For me, the key is using a proper shaped underwire sports bra rather than just one of the compression bras. I do wear a bra for strength training at the gym because my gym is very hot and I think the sight of me doing shoulder presses braless in tank top with my 34DDDs might be too much for the guys to handle. I wouldn't want be the cause of an injury. :laugh:
For daily activities, it is a matter of getting used to it because it feels different. I'm not sure if it's my imagination, but it seems like my boobs naturally sit more forward now, versus how they used to slide more under my armpits. Also, sometimes I wear a cotton camisole under my shirt so it's less obvious that I'm braless. In winter it doesn't matter because of the thick layers of sweaters and coats and such.0 -
I'm at work so I only read the first page or responses to OP. It may have been mentioned on other pages, but I have a meeting in a few minutes and actually have to work on HUMP DAY... booooo.
Anyway, I think some lack of perk may come from posture. Good core strength and good posture keep your boobs from being pointed toward your stomach and appear to be up more. Also, good posture and working core muscles keep your body more stable during other workouts, good posture makes you appear slimmer and having a strong back can't be all bad. The back contains a lot of muscles that can be burning energy even while you sleep. Sit up straight, work that core and shoulders back. Slouching makes you look heavier.

Agree with all the suggestions about chest presses & other chest muscle exercises.
But also.. mine got worse before they got better. There was a strange middle period of saggyness, and then as I get closer to my goal weight (still 30 lb away), they are improving. Don't give up or get discouraged. Just focus on building muscle and losing fat and it will all work out0
