I don't remember any thongs though and...well. I would know if thongs had been present.

Is MFP exercising its right to delete somethings that are against its community guidelines? From what I have read and seen from my previous membership and since joining the second time around it doesn't exercise that right too frequently??

    12. No Profane, Vulgar, Sexually Explicit or Illegal Images

All images on the site, including all profile pictures and images posted in the forums, should be work-place friendly. While we reserve the right to remove any photo we feel is inappropriate, here are some partial guidelines as to what is not acceptable:

    - no nudity
    - no underwear, thongs, g-strings, or banana hammocks
    - no pants or shorts worn mid-hip or below (no saggers)
    - no photos in which hands or objects are the only bodily covering
    - no excessive cleavage (if you would wear it to work, it’s probably OK)
    - no close-up shots of cleavage, butt, breasts or crotch in any state of dress
    - no hateful or violent imagery
    - no images containing profanity or vulgarity
If you are photographing yourself to demonstrate successful weight loss, tight fitting spandex is a great way to show the change in your shape, while still abiding by these guidelines. Photos altered to present inaccurate weight-loss results are prohibited. Please keep the experience at MyFitnessPal encouraging by keeping your "success" photos authentic.

It doesn't look like it fits anywhere to me...there are no exclusions mentioned for bare midriffs.

I quite like the look of abs...for the most part the main profile photos show what can be achieved with consistent hard work and dedication.

This is why the reporting photo thing is bugging me.

There was a success thread a couple of days ago where someone who wasn't at goal posted some current and before pics wearing underwear. She was expressing how nervous it made her but she wanted to do it to celebrate her progress. That's fantastic, she looked great and we see similar all the time. Now imagine that person and others like her reading all the fuss about folks with super fit, slim bodies getting pictures pulled wearing more than she was because they were reported for being too sexy. Is she going to have her self esteem plummet because her pictures weren't sexy? Is she going to be even more embarrassed? What about others who have had great success but don't have "perfect" bodies, will they want to post their success?

Its hardly encouraging body acceptance for any shape or size is it?

There are still a lot of profile pics with abs. I don\t know which ones got pulled, but am wondering if ones that also had low riding shorts or pants, thus violating the no saggers rule. Which would make sense if your friend was asked to crop his pic.

I'm referring to a specific thread that has been mentioned elsewhere (Specifically in the 'Rat' thread from earlier, but other places as well) in relation to the photo yanking shenanigans. Some people have claimed that thread included chicks in thongs and exposed cracks or actual porn and I'm saying that wasn't the case. My statement isn't in reference to your comment, or else I would have quoted it.

I don't know anything about what people put on their profile pictures and hoo-has flashing about.
