    Born in Akron, grew up in Pittsburgh, lived in Erie PA for a bit then on to Cleveland...in all of those places combined, people didn't complain about the cold as much as they do here in Richmond, VA.

    Personally, I only think that any town where it's colder than Alaska should complain - and that's where Atlanta, GA was last week! And I don't care what anyone else does, when it gets that cold in Georgia, I'm complaining!

    NO! But I'm going to complain anyway. :angry: We, here in the South, do not know how to drive in these conditions. It's very rare we have to. Lots of bridges and they will all be closed. Difficult to get anywhere even if you do now how to drive in it. And those who don't know how to drive in it, but will attempt to anyway, make it unsafe for everyone else.

    Nope, situated squarely between #1, 5, 6 and 19 - in a state (Iowa) that is almost totally plowed and has no trees to block wind. So, I'm gonna complain...it can be May any day now.

    17, I dont mind that much, I know spring is around the corner

    -Cool watching the rivers freeze
    -air is crisp
    -marathon training is a challenge
    -home feels more cozy

    I am from Winnipeg...Just the other week, we made CNN as having a daytime temperature colder than the surface of Mars.

    It is so cold here that Margeritas are considered a warm beverage.

    I could really have fun with this...

    Just remember though... it doesn't matter how cold it gets, it could always get worse. :laugh:

    Current temperature in Winnipeg with the windchill -40. Think my drink is freezing over....

    60 miles north of #3. I worked out in my basement in a turtleneck and sweatshirt. Today was deads so I got to remove my sweatshirt half way through. The bar was soooo cold I actually wore my garden gloves the whole time. I lived in south Florida for 15 years but I still love it here!! Hello Wisconsin!!!!!

    Whew, just barely made the list.. but still made it which means I can complain. :happy:

    It's 32 here now though, tonight 7. Still above 0, so I am actually not complaining.. not today, not right now.

    I'm just not gonna blink though cuz living in New England that's all it takes for the weather to change! :drinker:
