What are you guys doing with your returns?

I think I'll get between 4-7k back this year... I have no idea how to spend it!
-I'm debt free
-I save 10% a month in my 401k
-I max out my Roth-IRA

You could donate it to my "I need a house but also an overseas holiday to further my education" fund...

School loans, car payments, a Fitbit, some other exercise items. Nothing cool like a pre-planned spring break trip to get wasted.

I'm such an oldie at the age of 22. -__-
  • Ummm Miami trip, member!!! You promised!

Visit your local KTM dealer. They sell giant doses of adrenaline.

Seriously, I would travel. Or replace my hot water heater, Cause, you know, life.

I won't get one because I didn't give the government an interest free loan all year.

I would donate 10% to a charity of your choice. I would then spend about $100 on yourself so that you never worried about having a plan for your money again... No one cares more about your money than you do.

I hope I get enough back so I can part my current quad out and use the cash from it + the income tax return for another quad, a quad for my girlfriend, and a ring so I can propose already!

I'll put almost half into my girls college funds. because honestly, I wouldn't get as much back if I didn't have them, so I feel like it belongs to them.

The rest is going towards paying off some bills and vacation in April

My son is graduating this year, so some will go for that, his tattoo for his 18th birthday in April (I promised that a couple years ago), my wedding in October. I don't think I'll have any after that.

I'm self employed with fluctuating income. Tax time is always a surprise.

How's your cash reserve? Do you have 6mo living expenses socked away (outside of a retirement account)?

If your getting that much back, you need to adjust your tax withholding cause your just giving the government a free loan of your money... Just a FYI

Unless the OP is getting EITC or another refundable credit. Refunds are not always from withholding.
