    Hello, hope I can join.

I only started running on New Year's Eve... I've never been able to run but I've signed up for two 10ks in March so I've got a lovely target and I'm raising money for Sport Relief at http://my.sportrelief.com/sponsor/danielfrancis - my before/after pics are there too to show why I've never been able to run!

I had a good January, running 41.6 miles and on Thursday just gone I did my first 10k, albeit with a couple of rests towards the end. Yesterday I did my second 10k, sadly with a rest literally minutes from the end when I needed the loo! I managed to finish it off, and I plan to do it non-stop on either Wednesday or Friday this week depending on when my training plan allows me to sneak it in! These two were on treadmills but I mix it up, weather allowing.

I'll do a target of 50 miles for February - I think it's a fair enough improvement from last month and achievable.

Couldn't pass up the beautiful afternoon, so went out for a nice brisk walk, another 9.5miles... If only every day could be like this!

I used to be a marathon runner, however, I stopped and have not been running in years. Making a commitment to myself to get fit and healthy again.....one step at a time!

I will commit to run 30 miles in February :-)
