Anyone care to join me in losing 5-10 lbs by Christmas starting Black Friday (weigh in)? Seems a good time to conquer any gains from Thanksgiving.

I'd like to join. I've been eating horribly for the past few days and the next two days are going to be worst. I'm going to weigh in on Sunday for my official weight and I'm afraid I'm going to cry . I did weigh myself yesterday though and I was 117 pounds.

I'm in! 136.6 lbs and am aiming for 130 by Christmas. 6 lbs in 4 weeks....goal is 6 days per week of elliptical or running and 3 days per week of 30 day shred. Please help keep me motivated...it is so hard to do by yourself and most of my friends think I am crazy for trying to be healthy and lose the extra pounds. I want to succeed!0

Weekly challenge, should you choose to participate:
I'm terrible about drinking my water so my challenge is to not only get in your 8+ glasses a day, but to record it and report back next Friday how you did. Whether you flavor it, drink it plain, or get it indirectly through fruit/vegetable juices is totally up to the individual as I myself can't stand plain water, generally. If you drink you 8 glasses starting tomorrow and report early on Friday, there should be at least 40 glasses (or 320 ozs) consumed per person (8x5 to account for today's loss and possibly most of next Friday). I think. lol...
My honest goal is half that - 20 glasses, starting now.

I'm in :happy: I've made myself 2 goals to get rid of my last 10 lbs: 5 lbs by the end of Decemeber & 5 more by beginning of March 2010.
Starting Weight as of 11-28-10: 150 (5'6" frame)
December 31, 2010 goal: 145
March 1, 2011 goal: 140 (haven't seen that weight since I was in 6th grade )
Hopefully seeing other peoples results will kick my rear in gear to do it to :happy:

Karen - probably not since caffeine dehydrates. I'm a big coffee drinker - but I wouldn't count it towards my water intake. Same with alcohol. :-( Of course, ultimately, it's up to you, but that's my suggestion.0 -
hee hee water....I drink loads of crystal light and tea and coffee and diet sodas but...the only time I drink plain water is at the gym. Good mini goal. I will start this Monday am as I work all night and won't have the time to hit the ladies room that often. So by Friday I should have achieved 40 glasses of water.0

Just weighed myself. Gain 2 pounds over the holidays, but I'm back on track today and I will be down at least 5 pounds by New Years.

I'm a few days late but I'm in. I am mostly focused on toning up and maintaining a healthy weight (somewhere between 120-125).
I am only up about one lb from Thanksgiving which is great.

I have TOM knocking at my door in the next couple of days - so my Fri. weigh in might be a bit off. :-( And so will my appetite!0

Hi!...I've been very good this week since I was sick and I'm down 2.5 lbs which puts me on 117.7 lbs wooho! Mi goal is to achieve 115 next week and lose a couple more before Christmas...I will be starting today a very low carb diet to shred this last pounds faster because it's so difficult to lose weight when you're close to your goal...How is everybody doing?0
