    February 1 - rode 29.8 miles for a duration of 91 minutes
    February 2 - rode 47.2 miles for a duration of 150 minutes
    February 3 - rode for 30 minutes recovery spin (not counting for miles) and did weights
    February 4 - rode for 19 miiles for a duration of 60 minutes
    February 5 - rode for 10.1 miles for a duration of 30 minutes and did weights
    February 6 - rode for 29.6 miles for a duration of 90 minutes (included 5 x 6 minute L4 intervals)

  • Hi, I would like to join this challenge.
    I cycle every now and then, but I would like to do it more since I love riding.
    I recently joined a gym (a little over a week ago) and I use their stationary.
    I will set a goal of 100 miles for February. :) I am totally looking forward to this challenge!!!

    02-01-14 = ~10 miles = 35 minutes (stationary)

    02-05-14 = ~09 miles = 35 minutes (stationary)

    There are many motivations when it comes to cycling and doing it. One of them is to go out and spend money on a new bicycle at your local bike shop. Figure it this way, after spending that kind of money on a bicycle and then not riding it means you need more help then you think :wink:
    Also, a new bicycle is lighter and probably has the best gearing to make cycling outside easier then riding a bike that is 20 years old.:smile:

    I'd like to join this challenge! I'll need to think about a goal..I've not been able to ride for 6 months, but I've been getting back on the trainer the last couple months. Not sure what to push for ... I am just getting a feel for how much fitness I have lost since July.

    I see this thread every day and it makes me sad, because the snow won't be gone for 2-3 months still. But just wanted to say good luck to everybody and I hope you are enjoying!

    Trainer, exercise bike, spin bike, etc...is the answer to riding inside while the snow is outside.

    Or get a FAT BIKE....

    Uggh I can't STAND riding my trainer, so just been doing cross-training stuff in the basement for now. Sometimes I can't sleep at night though because I can't stop thinking about riding lol.

    I'll have to put a fat bike on my list of fitness reward buys!
