    Back when I lifted weights in PE, my gym teacher singled me out and told me that I was the type of girl who could go on to competitive lifting and that it was people like me who made him want to start a school team for that. He made me feel strong and confident about my naturally more muscled frame. :)

    I've never really been significantly overweight and the men I've dated have mostly been very positive about my body. But once a complete stranger walked up to me in the grocery store and told me I have a "very pretty shape."

    It was years ago and I still haven't decided if it was sweet or creepy. lol

    i work retail and ive actually had a handful of customers comment on my weight loss. i must be doing sonething right if people who are pretty much strangers can tell i look better.

    Well I was walking from the office out to see someone, and policy is greet everyone and this nice looking, tall trim man was walking towards me, so I nodded, smile brightly and said Hi.. and he said How are you? I said 'fine' he drops his sunglasses down, looks me up and down and says 'you sure are' .... I was speechless LOL

    My 21 year old niece came up behind me on Thanksgiving while I was helping make dinner, put her hands on my hips, and said, "Auntie, you're tiny!!" I laughed, said "Not tiny, but thank you!" :) Made me feel really good, I've lost over 100 pounds, so I guess seem "tiny" to some, even though I have a ways to go yet.. :)

    Once a guy put his arm around me and said "Wow, you must work out, very muscular" That was nice after a year of hitting the gym hard and losing over 100 pounds. I was also walking up the steps and a friend behind me said "I want my legs to look like yours" It's always nice to et a compliment.

    I was standing outside a club after a gig talking to my guitar players girlfriend. She was taking to me about the jeans I was wearing and how I should be using a different cut. This girl was walking by and overheard her. She walks up, smacks my *kitten*, and says "those jeans look damn fine on him to me", and then walks away.

    The GF's face was one of shock... I had the biggest grin the rest of the night. :bigsmile:

    My niece told me "you look like my mommy" which is a compliment because her mom has always been smaller than me.

    My friend walked across the gym just to tell me "you're a shadow of your former self"

    My wife says nice things, but her love for me means she's biased.

    The one time my friend was trying to describe me to a girl on the phone to set me up on a date and said, he's not fat, but more husky...like a football player, was probably the best compliment I've gotten.

    My wife went for her yearly checkup today and when she showed the photo of her family she keeps on her cell phone to her doctor, he thought she had divorced and re-married. I haven't seen him in a couple of years and have lost around 150 lbs since the last time I saw him.
