Lunch today. I was super tired of the usual sandwich + veg and/or salad with protein so I switched it up! Broccoli slaw tossed with tuna, tomatoes, lemon juice, and Greek yogurt Caesar dressing on a bed of mixed greens; scallion-and-thyme egg muffin on the side with lots of Cholula.
That whole thing looks and sounds so good.0 -
Geez, you guys have some goodlooking food!!!0

One of these three options : a chef, has a chef roommate/girlfriend/boyfriend or has a lot of money to eat out every day.
I ruled out #3 because the plate is always the same #jealous0 -
Definitely a chef imo, extremely creative with a lot of thought on presentation and flavor. The burger combinations he creates alone are enough to make you drool. I attended culinary school in Dallas and though I don't do it for a living, it takes one to know one.0

I made up a salad of shrimp, tomatoes, scallions, garlic chili sauce, and dried dill. Half the salad went in the side dish and the other half went between two slices of Bavarian sunflower rye. And the leftover tomato on the side.

Crust is made with 40g instant polenta (which is basically boiled cornmeal, but I used less water to make it thicker and dough-like).
The stuffing is made with 150g white mushrooms (dry fried with 60g of low-fat cream) and 30g grated parmesan cheese. I don't remember how long I baked them but 180 °C for 20 minutes should be okay!
ETA: I forgot spices! I added black pepper and parsley0 -

4 chicken breasts cubed
1 cup of honey
1 tbsp butter
1/4 cup mustard
And as much yellow curry powder as you want!
Bake 350F for 45 minutes!0
