Finally. Some comfort food I've made in the past few days!
Pansit (Filipino rice noodle dish)

Sinigang (Filipino sour tamarind based broth soup with pork and veggies)

sbarella -- Make sure to dice the potatoes fine and blanch them for about three minutes, then rinse with cold water, before adding them to the egg mixture. Unblanched, they'll be part-raw when the muffins are done; unrinsed, they'll congeal your eggs (because of the heat and starch).0

quickly whipped dinner after a really late dance class one day.
blanched bok choy and enokis, boiled noodles and sliced carrots, and threw in some raw tomatoes. all tossed with a tablespoon of oyster sauce!
regular tuesday nights boyfie dinner, pork burgers! this one had an adorable name: Super Mario, cause it had mushrooms. xD
epically delicious Thai dinner with returning friends one night, chicken grilled when wrapped in screwpine leaves tastes amazing!
the classic Thai dessert, red ruby in coconut milk. it was delicious, albeit a bit high calorie!

they were so moist and delicious, maybe because i havent had the "real" thing in a while but seriously if i didnt make them myself id think there was a litre of oil/butter in them.

It's snowing again, I'm sick again, and all I wanted was a bowl of comfort food. So tonight I made spaghetti bolognese. It was exactly what I wanted.
Dinner with a friend -- she's vegan, I'm (obviously) not. We made polenta with miso and red wine mushrooms, roasted cauliflower with lemon zest and almonds, and a big tray of roasted misc veggies. And wine. A lot of wine.
And one of my favorites, a broccoli and potato hash with poached eggs and, of course, some ultra beautiful oranges.

Breakfast hash with spinach, onions, sweet potato and eggs sunny side up. Plus some kiwi
Rice Noodles with Flank steak, edamame and red peppers in a sauce of hoisin, fish sauce, cilantro and lime juice. SO YUM!
