My NSV was that, after a few weeks of illness and slacking on my exercise and nutrition, I started tracking/watching my food again today.

    1) fitting into a large top and rocking it rather than an xl or xxl.
    2) having a junk food day and still only eating one slice of pizza and a muffin top. Normally it would be a whole pizza and cookies along with muffin.

Had 2... Ran my fastest mile 8:34!
And ran 2 miles straight with a 10:00 pace while holding a conversation! And I didn't die!

I wore a top today that was snug 2 months ago and now it's very loose. Yeah

I can sit on the floor, both legs straight in front of me, and reach my toes! That's 6 inches further than I could reach 4 weeks ago!
  • It's finals week. I've been to the grocery store twice and haven't bought pringles, swedish fish or redbull. This is an accomplishment. Also all the food is prepped to get me through the next week without any fast food or terrible campus alternatives.

At my high school softball practice today, we ran a lap around the school (about a quarter mile-ish, maybe more) and I ran the whole thing without stopping once

    2. That same wonderful child ran a 5k with me this weekend, on her birthday... and cheered ME on to run to the finish!

The scale is finally starting to move! My son told me to slow down when we were running to the van or should I say I was running.

Got a new Work out Sweater - With one of those zipper pockets on the sleeve :)
I got it in a size L instead of XL and it looks good too haha. It's in a bright color. Normally I don't wear form fitting clothes in light colors, but this looked too good on me too resist!!

This one is weird. I was clipping my toenails last night and I actually noticed that i was closer to them like i could bend over way further. Weird but my toenails are thanking me.

Oh and I put on an XL t-shirt for the first time. It fit awesome but my slimmer body made my big *kitten* head look even bigger.

A 22 year old told my wife she thought I was hot

And pretty sure I got eye molested by an incredibly attractive woman, that wasn't my wife, at a concert the other night.

That's great! It's easy to do something if you are good at it. Really brave if you are not :drinker:

Yeah!!! I feel really intimidated at the gym and go with my husband. If he is out of town I find it hard to go by myself.... but I do. Congrats, that's a big step

    Mine is a bit silly...

Husband and I walk the dog every evening, and often when we turn the last corner onto our street, I'll take the dog off leash and we'll race to the end of the block where our house is.

Dog always wins, but last night, I kept good pace and I wasn't completely winded when I got inside.

It sounds a bit stupid but I got eyed up at the gym today and for once the guy wasn't creepy in anyway (I always attract the creepy guys) Not my type at all but fairly good looking.

I must be looking good if I can be checked out when I'm the sweaty mess that I am in the gym

This evening I walked around the block (~1 mile) and did it in just over 19 minutes. Normally this time of day I'm doing about 2.5 MPH on a route twice as long.

Oh, and I took measurements for the first time in six weeks and lost two inches from my hips!

Other than pants and shirts becoming even looser (yay!), while lying down on my side, I noticed that my inner knees were touching in a way that felt a bit uncomfortable---there's less cushion (fat!!) so now I'm feeling one bone against another. I'm looking forward to experiencing life in a no-longer class 1 obese (overweight is a euphemism for class 1 obesity) body! In due time!
