 Had a great meeting with the surgeon yesterday. I go under the knife on March 25 -- will see if I can make the challenge by then and will then cut myself as much slack as I need for the rest of March and April. Keep on keepin' on, everyone!0

 Thanks, luvsunshine1! Went to my first breast cancer support group meeting on Friday -- was paired with a Reach to Recovery volunteer whose experience was/is similar to mine. I feel good about the surgeon and so far all indicators point to a very good prognosis.Definitely have to be kind to yourself and give yourself plenty of healing time after your surgery. So sorry that you have to go through this but sounds like you have a good surgeon.

 There's nothing like the understanding when someone else has gone through the same thing. Helps you not feel alone and they can tell you what's normal as you go along this path. I'm sure you will do fine, being in good shape from exercising will help a lot with the recovery. So glad the prognosis is a positive one.0
