Thisrecipe is amazing! My kids would rather eat this than chips.
preheat oven to 350
Wash kale and tear off stem and into chip sized pieces. Dry thoroughly.
Get large baking dish and coat bottom in extra virgin olive oil.
Put kale in dish and toss to coat with oil.
Bake until crisp and sprinkle with Sea Salt

What are the calories like?0

This DOES taste great I must say. However, it's too bad that you have to add the Sea salt for it to taste wonderful! I avoid it now because of the necessary salt0

I am going to cook this right now. Is there a way to avoid the salt intake?
Any other options?0 -

Lets try some fresh herbs or Mrs.Dash!0 -
4 oz = 60 calories
4 oz is WAY too much for one person...I'd say 1-2 ounces a serving is about right. Also I use the Misto sprayer with my own olive oil in there...a good covering spray is about 30 calories.
Very yummy! Good way to get that salty craving in without breaking the bank, and you're getting tons of awesome nutrients!0 -

The way i understand it is Celtic Sea Salt does not raise your blood pressure and is really good for you.0

A baking dish or a cookie sheet?0

I am about to make a batch using McCormic's Perfect Pinch Mediterranian Herb. I will let you know how it turns out!0

ok i have to ask .... what is kale?0
-
Ummm....Good Question! LOL I think it is in the Greens Family. I never tried it until a friend made some baked Kale. Now we are all addicted!0
-
lol ok .. i guess my better question is i can buy it in the produce department ?0
-
Seriously? I have a bunch growing in the yard. I might try it this weekend!0
-
Jillian, yes it's in the produce aisle. It looks like curly, really big spinach leaves. It's the stuff that is usually under the cold cuts on a cold cut platter!0

I see the recipe calls for sea salt, but where does it say that the only way these taste wonderful is with the salt? Where is your sense of adventure? Try it other ways!0 -
bump for later. anyone try this with a dip?0
