Thank you for sharing. Going to make these tomorrow.

Here is a simple recipe for Hamburger seasoning:

    INGREDIENTS:
    2 teaspoons paprika
1 1/2 teaspoons ground black pepper
    1 1/4 teaspoons salt
    1/2 teaspoon dark brown sugar
    1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
    1/4 teaspoon onion powder
    1/4 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper
    DIRECTIONS:
    1. Combine in an airtight container; seal. Shake to combine. Store in a cool, dry place between uses.
    Make approx. 2 tablespoons

Bump. I think I'll make double cheeseburgers, one patty made of hamburger and one with black bean.

For those that have made this recipe, do the burgers hold together well? I am making these tonight and noticed that some other recipes call for an egg?

mine kinda fell apart if picking them up but it was fine using a spatula on the bread/bun and it stayed together in the sandwich. was just really dry!

I love these burgers have made them twice now. Last time I did substitute the oats with cooked quinoa and added some relish.

I made these again tonight and thought I'd share a pic. And yes the bun isn't healthy, but it sure looks pretty on it :) I normally eat on whole grain bread and it tastes fine.
