I weigh myself every day.....I know I shouldn't but I can't seem to help myself......0

Your friend doesn't make sense. It doesn't matter when you do it as long as you stick to the same day/time/place.
I weigh-in and measure every Saturday morning when I wake up around 9am right after I pee and in the exact same spot in my bathroom. I'm conveniently still naked so it's quick and easy. I log everything in an excel file so that I can transcribe it here later and I post my results on FB seeing as my friends like reading about it.
If Monday is your preferred day, stick to it!0 -
I weight in almost everyday because I want to be able to cope with the daily weight fluctuations. You know, try to understand and accept them.
But my weight-in day is Sunday morning. I find that weight in to be `the one` (like the consistent one), taking into account the other days and my lifestyle.0 -

I weigh every day so I don't lose focus of where I am. However, I then go back and only keep the weekly weigh-ins so I'm not influenced in a negative way the daily fluctuations that occur. I determine my true progress on a weekly basis. I weigh on Sundays [no particular reason].0

Every day is weigh in day but my official day is Sunday. Just because it's the start of the week.0

I don’t think it matters as far as your weight loss is concerned. My weigh-in day is Friday mornings because of no other reason than I wanted it to be Fridays. Consistency (same day, time, place, and scale) is the most important factor for accurate readings.0

Varies.
Probably TMI: when I was heavier, not logging, eating whatever I wanted, I had a very specific bathroom "schedule"- as in daily, and at the same time... Now?? Like only 2x/week or so, so I use that as a guide of when to weigh.0 -

This! Just make sure you're consistent with when you weigh yourself. I do it every morning (only because I am trying to figure out my maintenance) in underwear after I go to the bathroom.0 -
My weigh in day is Fridays. Although I weigh myself everyday just because I can't help myself. I don't like weighing in on Mondays because I tend to eat my worst over the weekend and my weight goes up because of salt intake. But I weigh first thing in the morning, after I pee and butt naked...same scale same spot in the bathroom.0

I weigh daily but record only when a new low has been met.0
-
I weigh nearly each day, same time (morning after peeing). I log only when there's a new low weight. I don't necessarily log losses below 0.4 pounds.0
-
Usually Saturday morning, or I put it off until Monday morning which gives me a reason to 'stay the course' over the weekend.0

I'm questioning the day, because Monday are demotivating after seeing my good progress Mon-Friday with daily unofficial scale checks and then weekends ruin it. I like the thought of banking it on Friday or Saturday morning and using that as motivation over the next 48 hours.0

I weigh myself all the time, but my official weigh in day is Wednesday. I started over-again- on January 1st and it was a Wednesday.
I also joined a group on here and their weigh in day was Saturday (has changed somewhat since I joined) but, I continue to record my weight on Saturday for that group. I like having 2 weigh ins/week because it keeps me more accountable.0 -
Thursday- gives me time to recover from any weekend fun I had previously, and I use it as a guideline for how much fun to have the following weekend.0
-
I weigh in on Mondays because it helps me to stay healthier on weekends, when I can easily blow all my hard work.....0

I weigh every day. I do not have a "scale weight" goal (I'm more interested in fat loss, looking good, and feeling good than the number on the scale) but I find the scale to be a useful tool.0

Every day.
I like data.0 -
Wednesdays because I started on a Wednesday - if you tend to go off track a bit on the weekend Wednesday is a good day - it gives you a couple days to "recover" from the weekend (ie: sodium would be my culprit) - if you don't go off track on the weekends then it shouldn't really matter.0
-
Everyday because I've lost my days of the week underpants so don't know what day it is.0
-
i weight in on tuesday, cuz i go out to lunch with some friends.
but i do get on the scale a lot during the week, which is not a good thing.0 -
I weigh on a Monday as that way if it's a good weigh in its motivation for the rest of the week and if it's not so good you can decide what needs to be done differently and start the week afresh trying to avoid the scales between weigh ins to avoid fluctuations and getting disheartened0

I weigh of Fridays because it's a constant for me then if I have lazy days on the weekend or unhealthy eating the weekend is were I might have it. Plus on the weekends are varied with things to do with my kids or they get me side tracked. Durning the week I get up at the same time. Don't get me wrong I may sneak a peek on other days but Friday is my official day unless I'm out of town then it's Thursday but this doesn't happen often. All and all I'm trying to back off on the weigh ins I have two more weeks of a challenge and then I'm going to try to go for two weeks at a time going around TOM.0

Yep. Love Wednesday weigh in for this reason. I "unofficially" weigh daily (just about), but log it in on Wednesday.0 -
Daily, because mine is sporadic and I don't want to hit the day where i had a lot of water gain for whatever reason. Mine goes down a pound, up a pound, down two pounds, up a pound, up a pound, down 3 pounds then starts over again. It is never consistent. I also weigh less after I wake up and do bathroom duty then wait for another 20 minutes. I usually drop another 1/2 pound after that. Go figure.0

Every Tuesday in the morning, because Tuesday was the start of my diet three weeks ago.0

Used to be Mondays (years ago), but that got depressing because I eat more during the weekend than during the week and I didn't feel happy with Monday results. Now it's Fridays and I find that a very enjoyable and uplifting day to weigh in. I still splurge a bit on weekends, like on Friday nights, but then the few weekdays after that balance out any weekend indulgences. So far, so good!0

Friday is weigh day for me. Right after my morning tinkle and typically just wearing my knickers and a tank top. My first weigh-in just happened to land on that day and I've been consistent. It's way too defeating for me to weigh myself daily and watch all the ups and downs. Once a week is plenty!0

I weigh every day first thing in the morning and log the result onto MFP good or bad. That averages out the the ups and downs. I've done this every day since I started MFP 862 days ago.0
