    Not even a chance, I'd challenge her to a game of wits, but it's not fair to challenge an unarmed opponent. I wish her the best of luck doing whatever she set out to do with this thread.

    I am well aware of the can of worms that I am opening here, but here's the thing. There's no need to be snippy about it. If you don' t like the thread, simply don't comment on it. I don't think she was here to attract attention- if she was, she would still have an account on here. Yes, she was a friend of mine on here. And while I do not know her outside of MFP, she wasn't the type who was looking for or seeking unwanted attention. This site is prone to that- and while some people like it and others don't, I don't think that it is right to jump on someone just because they ask a question you don't think they should. I was always taught that there is no such thing as a dumb question. And by no way am I saying her question was a dumb one. I think it was a sincere one, like "hey this is happening, and i don't like it. i am announcing it publicly to seek advice on how to make it stop or to let people know that I am not interested in it"

    so please, back off. We are all here for motivation and looking for motivational people--don't rain on someone else's parade...

    I don't know why the responses in this thread upset me but people need to be a little empathetic. I've seen the OP around and yeah she does a lot of textbook attention seeking posts that are pretty overt. However, she is young and also lost like 100 pounds recently! Maybe she was heavy all her life and doesn't have a good support system at home. Maybe this is where she comes to get reassurance that she looks good and is attractive again. Maybe she is still deeply insecure inside despite her amazing newfound body.
    This and the fact that she is pregnant. If this is her first child, she might be a little nervous about what this might do to her new body.

    @OP, you can block people. You can select which pictures are posted. Like what we eat. We control what information and pictures are posted about us. Sadly some people don't know when they've crossed a line. So it's up to all of us to keep guarded what we don't want shared or viewed by a stranger, which might make us then uncomfortable.

    Create a thread about how offended you are about getting attention

    Step 4
    Deactivate your MFP account ...because

    Step 5
    Away in RL missing terribly all the attention from the creeps from MFP

    Step 6
    Create a new MFP account

    ...then repeat Step 1 to Step 6

    The creepiest one I got was some guy wanting to make-out with me! I was like...no means no! :laugh:
    Oh and the stalker one, that was by far the scariest.

    I'm okay with it too. I usually accept them and then delete them a couple days later. I've been on MFP for over 3 years. I have less than 10 friends and two of them are my daughters.
