There is a post in the recipe section called Oatmeal Cottage Cheese Pancakes, they are so good and they fill you up.0

I started putting it in my smoothies! It doesn't have as much tang as greek yogurt and really makes it creamy!
I usually will do 1 scoop protein, 1 banana, 1/4-1/2 cup cottage cheese (4% fat), and berries. It is fabulous and a TON of protein.
OMG I am stealing this idea. I love the sound of it.0 -

My great grandmother used to always eat it with brown sugar. I just eat it plain or berries on the side.
But seeing all posts, I honestly never thought of trying it with a more savory flare. That's definitely something to explore upon, thanks!0 -
I eat cottage cheese with vanilla greek yogurt, flavored protein powder, fruits, jam, peanut butter, etc. Not all at once, though.
But it generally includes a mix of something to give it a sweeter flavor base and some fruit like berries.

Not all cottage cheese is created equal. I only like 2% and in certain brands. You might want to try a different brand and fat content and see if it tastes better.
I just sprinkle paprika on mine for decoration.0 -
Pineapple.

On a ryvita with some tobasco sauce and some cucumber0

Sometimes with some fruit like peaches or pineapple.
Sometimes with cashews and a little black pepper.
Sometimes as a side to my spaghetti.0 -
I love this thread. I eat cottage cheese with tomatoes and black pepper almost every morning. I'm not a big fan of sweet stuff with my cottage cheese, but most of the savory ideas sound amazing!0

I'll occasionally mix in a tablespoon of clover honey.0

Greek yogurt has more protein, is more filling and tastier. I stopped eating cottage since I tried Greek,,,0

There are lots and lots of brands and types. Most, I will not eat, I find them terrible. My favorite, by a new york state dairy, Friendship! the very best. I eat it right out the container. In fact, it is like candy, i avoid it!!!! I think it is some of the best stuff on earth. generic, soupy stuff, is just nasty.0

Yellow mustard is delicious on cottage cheese. That or just fresh ground black pepper.0

I like it with apple butter. but cottage cheese has less protein than greek yogurt and more sodium, so i am staying away from cottage cheese...0

And, don't eat stuff you do not like. No point in it. It is not like Cottage Cheese is a free food or a miracle food. Far to many great things out there to eat besides it. This topic makes me think it is like work!0

I tried this because I had at a salad bar and thought wonderful. Mix 1 cup with 1 T of any flavor of sugar free jello. I had orange jello and mandarin oranges.0

In 4 one-ounce shot glasses.0

I used to think cottage cheese was gross but then my boyfriend made me try it and i love it. I've never had it with fruit but i know a lot of people do I'm not sure but i see it as more of a topping for savory food rather than sweet. Anyways my mother in law makes a really good tomato flavored soup and she puts the cottage cheese in it and now i am addicted to it my daughter loves it too. I also have eaten it in lasagna it gives it a more creamier cheesy taste. That's how i eat it usually but i will have to try some other recipes.0

Hey everyone!
I plan on incorporating cottage cheese into my diet since it's a good source of protein, and I'm just wondering, how do you eat yours?
Plain cottage cheese is just weird tasting in my opinion, so does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks!
