Great job everyone! I'm just coming back to logging calories after putting on some weight over the winter so I'm having that initial quick drop that can happen in the first few weeks. I expect my losses will slow down now.

I've been dealing with a nasty shin split and haven't been able to run in over a month. I'm in physiotherapy and was given the go ahead to start running again. I'm building up from 5 minutes. Fingers crossed I'll be fully recovered by the end of the month.0 -

I started some strengthening exercises as part of an April challenge for another group, so I'm not really surprised at the slight gain. My muscles are most likely holding extra water. I also treated myself with an alcoholic smoothie the last 2 nights, so that could be helping to retain water too.
For motivation, this week, I joined an April challenge group on here, and I am participating in their weekly mini challenges and monthly arms and butt challenges. Definitely helping to keep me on track with exercise so far. I also started spring cleaning, which is a workout in itself!

For Fun: I pushed myself harder than I ever have. I worked out even when I was dog tired and it paid off. I will do the same again next week. I will not make goal early and then gain it back. 199 is so close.0 -

Seems like a lot but it might be correct and my start weight was off. I had been between 140-141 and then had two awful weeks, and then the challenge started with me at 143.
So I'll just keep keeping on and see what happens!

Today is the day I joined and my first weigh in. I have my celebration meal for lowering my cholesterol and several treats I have let myself have because of some things I am dealing with, to thank for my non loss this week. My plan for the next week is to stay completely in my calorie goal, and to up my physical activity more.0
