My name is Corey and I turn 40 in 13 days. I am also over weight. I need to lose 28 pounds. The Lord has put it on my heart to lose the weight so I can be a healthy and fit witness. Its hard to talk about self control when your fat. I need all the friends (brothers and sisters in Christ) that I can. Please add me (steel sharpens steel) God Bless

    I've often thought about people being overweight (or having addictions or whatever) and not being good stewards of the body God has blessed them with.

    God has put that on my heart too. I lead worship at our church and I tell people all the time they can be free. Am I speaking to myself too? I can, and SHOULD be free from the extra baggage that I carry around, physically and spiritually. I have 45 lbs to lose. I am 57 years old, and want to be in good health as I grow older, and fat is just weighing me down and holding me back! Would appreciate Christian friends too.

We just moved to Tennessee, because we both had felt that God had called us here, were just not sure why yet.
