      Saw Billy Squier a couple years ago. He was on tour with the Ringo All-Starr Band. Billy still looks good and still sounds great.

      I feel certain that he can still sing "My Kinda Lover" better than I can.

      Not that I am going to let that dissuade me from trying.

      Love that song.....but that cheesy video wasn't the highlight of his career in my opinion. But then again, that was the 80s.

      I'm not defining it any way I want. I'm 45. I started High School in 1982 - At the time, The Beatles were classic rock. At the time, They had been done for 10 years. Led Zeppelin Was classic rock - they had been gone for 2 years ...

      My Son is 17. When he started high school in 2010, Nirvana had been done for 16 years ....

      Doo-Wop Music had been dead and gone for 20 years when I started High shcool, and it was what the "Oldies" stations played. When my son started high school, Hair Metal had been dead and gone for 20 years ...

      In my area, the classic Rock Stations have all added 80's and Grunge Pioneers to their playlists.

      Time marches on, man ....

      Not sure about others, but I consider classics/oldies whatever you want to call them 60's-80's, hell 50's too.

      Oh I agree....except I don't think a band has to be "done" to be classic. Bruce Springsteen is classic and he is still going.

      I love classic rock and older music in general. Some of my favorites include: Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, David Bowie, Fleetwood Mac, Queen, Megadeth, Jefferson Airplane, The Sisters Of Mercy, The Cure, Black Sabbath, Cream, Judas Priest, Dio, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Johnny Cash, The Doors, Stevie Wonder, and Depeche Mode,...just to name a few. I've seen The Temptations and Elton John in concert and in July, I'm seeing Styx with Foreigner and Don Felder.
