What time of day do you work out?

Early in the morning 6:30 am spin class, followed by weights and crunches is the best wake up and start your day. You would not believe the energy you still have at 2:00 pm0

My workout routine is a little skewed, I usually workout either VERY early in the morning, or around 5:00 in the afternoon. Since I'm a morning person, and I'm joining the Navy, I much prefer to work out around 6 or 7 in the morning, because I don't have to think about working out for the remainder of the day, and it releases endorphins so I feel pretty good when I get to work or to school. The days that I work out in the afternoon are usually when I have to be at work at 9 AM instead of 2 or 3. I do have a pretty sedentary job as a financial services rep, so going to the gym is a nice way to stretch from being stuck at my desk for 6 or 7 hours.
It's all a matter of preference, it doesn't really matter when you work out, just as long as you actually DO it0 -
Evening, I'm too lazy in the morning and usually do school work then. But once I finish working I find it easier to get up and go.0

I work out at 7:30 pm. Reason being, I'm too much of a sleepyhead to get of bed in the morning to exercise. I eat when I get home from work at 6:30 pm and then plan on working out an hour later.0

As soon as I get out of bed after a coffee0

During the week, after school, about 4:00. On the weekends about 9:30 or 10:00am.0

4:00AM Mon-Fri, 8AM Sat0

I prefer evening or afternoon but my life doesn't work that way. First thing in the AM is what fits so it HAS to work! I'm a natural night owl.
typical call
Up --5:30 -- drink some Energy & Endurance, workout, shower, help get kids ready and out door with husband, finish getting ready, work, errands at lunch, work, pick up child, home, dinner, play, kid bedtime. Hope the one falls asleep before 10pm, work 2nd job. Bed... repeat0 -
5AM M-F. Weekends generally before noon.0

First thing in the mornings around 7 or 8 am, and after dinner at around 6 or 7 pm. Gives me a good excuse to take 2 showers! I like doing cardio based workouts in the mornings and strength routines at night. My workouts are only 15-45 minutes (rarely do they go over 30 min) so it's easier to fit in than someone who does hour long sessions or has other responsibilities. I have no kids or pets, so my schedule is much more open than other people's. Kudos to people who have super busy lives and manage to fit those workouts in even if it's not the ideal time! Good for you guys. That's dedication!0

OP I don't know if you are asking in order to find out what the ideal time to workout is or you just were curious. If it is the former then I think the answer is it doesn't matter, just workout whenever its most convenient for you and that way you will be more likely to stick with it.0

Monday/Wednesday I lift at 5AM. Tuesday/Thursday I do cardio around 8PM. Friday I lift around 8PM. Trying to convince myself to switch my Friday workout to the morning, but sleeping until 6:30 is too awesome.0

I'm a person so I like to get it in and be done with it! I do walk home from the train in the evening and that's anywhere from a mile to almost two miles depending on which way I go.
You're a person?0 -
I try to make sure I exercise when i get home, usually around 6pm, then I eat after or i'm sure i'd throw up or feel too full to properly exercise0

It doesn't matter what time of day you workout, as long as you workout.
On workdays, I do mini-workouts in my office on my break and at lunch. After work I do a longer workout. On the weekends the time varies. If I'm doing a DVD or weights, I do them in the a.m. after I get up (around 10). But if the weather is nice I'll do something outside later.0 -
On Monday, Wednesday and Fridays I work out in the morning at 8:00am before work. I do this because I know when I come home, I'll be too tired to bother with it. On Saturday and Sunday, I'll workout in the afternoon since I have more time. It took some time to get up early, but now I enjoy it.0

Late afternoon or early evening when I'm too mentally fried to do anything else. I'm a morning person and it would be a waste of my peak thinking hours to waste it on brainlessly lifting heavy things and putting them back down.0

I workout in the evening either right after work or after supper around 7:00, its the only part of my day I have time/make time.0
-
7pm afterwork before dinner Tuesday, Wednesday sometimes Thursday. 7:30 am Saturday and Sunday. Basically day off workout is in the am and pm on work days.0
-
usually 7-8pm but sometimes even 10-11pm, because of work0

Workout in the evening after work, am not a morning person and have tried to wake up early to workout and could not commit to it, but evenings work fine for me plus I get to sleep much better. I got some motivation workout clothes on www.afyafitwear.com wearing them reminds me why am in the gym in the first place to get fit and shed some weight. Check them out!0

First thing, usually an hour after waking up! I've found that my burns later in the day suck compared to those in the AM.0
-
Usually within an hour of waking up, which can be anywhere from midday right up to 5pm. I am a night owl, and trying to break that pattern.0
-
I tried working out in the morning but my body refuses to wake up. So I try to do around 5-6 pm0
-
I typically do it anytime after work between 5-10 pm during the week. weekends I might do it in the morning or if I'm working, afterwards.0

Mondays and Wednesdays I work out at 6:20 am. Tuesdays and Thursdays I work out at 5:45 am. I find it much easier to work out in the morning. NO Excuses then0

Most weekdays 5am. Some weekdays I add in a lunch time run to my regular workout. One night a week I go to the gym at 5:30pm before dinner.
