My name is Lesley (need more friends too!) I am 32 mom of 2, wife of 1
I have been on MFP for several years but would go well for a month then quit. I have been begging my husband to eat better, slow down while eating, etc... to No avail. Then the school district we work for held a biggest loser competition and the top 10 men and top 10 women from the whole district could win from 100 to 1000 dollars. All they had to say was 1000 and he was gung-ho on this so I figured, I've been yelling at him for years and now he does it, I better get on that bandwagon and take advantage of his enthusiasm. Support always helps right? well fast forward just about 3 months and he has lost 50 pounds and I have lost 28 (the starting weight on here is 2 pounds off), and we are both winners, we find out what place we won on the 26th.

I lost 2 lbs this week which completely surprised me...I have been good on my walking but couldnt do my leslie or jillian workouts and then saturday i went out to b'fast but only ate a skinny omelette with veggies and homefries and toast no butter and then was sabotaged when i went to a friends and ate horribly, pizza wings and chocolate chip cookies. I guess being bad once a week didnt kill me but i still feel horribly. Hoping a Happy Easter to all that celebrate and good eating to you all!! :flowerforyou:

Cut down on alcohol...measure carefully in ounces anything i do drink...no sweets and no eating out

4/22 - 168.4 - Hit my goal for April!! Woohoo!! I have limited my soda intake to about 2-3 a week from 2-3 a day. I haven't started tracking my steps because I need a better tracking device. My phone isn't cutting it.
