Think twice before mindlessly eating Easter candy!!!

I would believe that the bite size creme eggs are 150 calories. But a full size one? The last time I looked it was like 280 or 300....hence the reason I stopped eating so many  They are my favorite candy of all time!
I guess I will have to buy one and weigh it....and then eat it......
FOR SCIENCE PEOPLE :laugh:0 -
Agreed...instead mix cream eggs in ice cream and eat the mini cadbury chocolate eggs...I mean you get like 25 for a single serving and they have a hard candy coating so if you let it melt in your mouth to get to the chocolate....*drools*
In other words don't be mindless come up with creative ways to eat them.0 -
I don't care about the candy or alcohol. I will eat the delicious homemade food at my Mom's.0

Can you even believe a single Cadbury creme egg is 150 calories??? It's so easy to eat like 10 of them without even thinking about it!!
So two is an easy fit!
Just make sure you wait until 4/21 so that it's half price!0 -

I can't believe it's only 150 calories...I could work 2-3 of those or Reese's eggs into my macros everyday...
reeses eggs are AMAZING...
Reese's and Cadbury creme eggs are my favorites. My husband likes the jelly beans and the robin eggs.0 -
Peeps are my Easter candy of choice!
I put one on top of my coffee this morning. It was lovely
Yes! These too! We like to get one package of each color. God, I love Easter candy!0 -

They're usually gone by 4/21. Cadbury eggs are very hard to come by.0 -

Meh..I'm going to eat my Easter Eggs plus goodies that come with and I'm going to enjoy them guilt free! They're not getting eaten in 1 day (think I'd feel sick) but they're getting eaten nonetheless! Half of those days they'll probably fit my calories/macros anyway.
Then I will move on, and probably not have any chocolate for several months. Not because I want to deprive myself, but just because I rarely find myself actually wanting some chocolate (although I do like it)0 -
I won't even think about eating Easter candy bacause the only thing you need to know is that it's delicious.
Also, 10 of those creme eggs?
I eat one a year because that's all I can handle. At this point I think the desire is more based on nostalgia than actually linking it... there I go, thinking again. Will still consume one.
I will regret nothing!0 -
You know what boogles my brain- peeps.
4 of them is only 110 calories.
seriously- this makes me SO extremely happy- I could eat a hole pack of them- twice over.
I love peeps.0 -
Luckily, Sundays are my fattycake days, so I'm going to devour everything. I get sick every Easter anyway, so I'm not gonna ignore my candy. I don't have the Easter meal anyway, so one day of candy won't hurt me.
I'll probably get full after a handful of jellybeans anyway. Sugar makes me feel stuffed!
You have 'fattycake' days? What awesomeness is this?0 -

Correction. Eating too much chocolate will get you fat.0 -
I hate cadbury eggs. I do like vanilla oreos with my coffee and now when I drink my coffee sans oreos, I am calculating how many cals I am avoiding:
Four oreos are 300 calories.
I once told my Army daughter that I have a coffee problem, wanting to have coffee three times a day and she rightly told me, "You don't have a coffee problem, you have a COOKIE problem!"
Bright gal, that daughter of mine.0 -
If you just eat the whites there are much fewer calories and you can add other things to the omelette to make it taste better0

I know- that sounds like something I need to incorporate- much better than "what's a macro day"0 -

TEN!? Holy cow... I have a hard time finishing *one*! They're so sweet - and this is coming from someone who loves sugar and eats multiple desserts each day! I think I would barf if I even ate two Cadbury Creme Eggs!
Guh, agree. I'd be in a diabetic coma by the time I got through the 2nd one.0 -
Just bought twinkies and hohos yesterday for my kid's easter basket. Junk food they never got - and no candy in the house for me! It's a win, win. Oh, and they are also getting earrings. Doesn't all have to be food0
-
I will be saving all of my calories for Starburst Jelly Beans.
And some hard boiled eggs to help with my non-sugar macros.0 -

Not sure if serious ...0 -
The real warning should be that you cannot roast Peeps. The outer sugar just burns and the rest of it melts into a pathetic puddle of despair.0
